| Our experience at the Granada airport was absolutely horrible. I am not sure if it was the airline (Iberia) or if it was because of the small size, but the service of all of the workers were completely useless, rude, and incompetent. Judging by the service, I’m assuming that Iberia gives no customer service training. First of all, one of us did not have a valid confirmation number although the payment went through and received a confirmation email. Afterwards, the attendant just sent us to a phone number which was hold and never answered. So we had to go to the Spanish number, but no one would help us to book a ticket or even help us call the phone. When we went to the service kiosk area, they left saying they had to catch the flight that we actually needed to go on. In fact, the flight we needed to book was not available online so we absolutely needed help from someone at the airport, but did not receive help until we talked to them multiple times. When we finally received help, the woman was rude and saying snide comments and only was able to help 15 minutes before. This was an absolutely horrid experience particularly for a very stressful event. We are very upset with the airline, but also at the airport for being rude and making it a more stressful situation (especially when it was not that hard of situation to fix). I hope for the future that this airport will improve vastly in order to be any form of actual competence. Thank god we had a native Spanish speaker within our group, if we didn’t we would have missed our flight and have to rebook for almost 4 times the price.
