"the airport is very disappointing"

Trip Verified | I loved Copenhagen but the airport is very disappointing. It doesn’t seem to be in keeping with the Danish ethos. Almost no place to sit and the few there are are incredibly uncomfortable. Where is Danish design when you need it? Also, the usually environmentally conscious Danes fall short at the airport. Very hard to find a place to fill your water bottle. Apparently, they’d rather you buy a new plastic bottle. A few other problems are that there are only a few toilets and they’re all down stairs. Plenty when you get there but not very convenient. Also a lack of departure screens. It could be so much better.

"avoid this airport at all cost"

Not Verified | Incredibly rude security personnel. They were very unfriendly and shouted at people that were not fast enough. Also very inefficient system, if you can avoid this airport at all cost.

"one of the worst airports in Europe"

Not Verified | Easily one of the worst airports in Europe. The staff are incredibly rude, unwelcoming, and unfriendly (unless you’re rich and are flying first class). The security lines are short but the day we flew through the airport, security decided that they should run a training for new security personnel recruits. What should’ve been a 10-15 minute security screening took nearly an hour. If you complained they picked on you and chose your bag for a random search and dumped out all of its private contents for everyone to see. The security staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. It’s incredibly unsafe to run a security training on real passengers. They could’ve at least made it known that line for security was a training but they didn’t. When one of the passengers tried to complain to one of the heads of security, he said that he didn’t care at all. Copenhagen is a beautiful city but I definitely won’t return. The airport experience really ruined my trip. So much so I’m writing an airport review for the first time in my life.

"most easy procedure"

Trip Verified | I forgot my laptop in the plane coming in this airport and spent the night freaking out, but the next morning I found the most easy procedure from the Copenhagen airport to retrieve personal belongings and I had my laptop back very quickly (less than 13 hours between flight landing and getting it back) I am very grateful as I know it is not as easy in other countries

"everyone had to sit on the floor"

Trip Verified | After an excellent time in Copenhagen, we arrived at CPH for our late flight back to the UK in plenty of time - we had been up for 14 hours and needed rest - but to our amazement there were no seats at the gate and everyone had to sit on the floor! This was so unbelievable and bad, the worst airport gate I have ever seen in all of my worldwide travels.

"pay the extra money to go somewhere else"

Trip Verified | This airport is a joke for any passenger, the queues within all aspects of the airport are horrible and long. Security took 20 minutes for us and only five people were ahead of us, so so slow. Gate was posted late and was F9, one of the furthest gates from security. We had to sprint across the entire airport to make it to our gate on time. Security still requires you to take out liquids and electronics from your bag, and will force you to throw away anything that doesn’t fit in their tiny bag. No compassion and a terrible lack of organization. If possible for your own sanity, do not go to this airport, it’s worth paying the extra money to go somewhere else. Makes me not want to visit Copenhagen again.

"Queues were insane"

Trip Verified | One of the worst airports I have ever seen. The toilets are so bad, Queues were insane. They still need u to take out both liquids and electronics from your bag. I am so appalled by this happening in a rich country. Also arrivals and departure are in the same terminal so directions are a mess.

"leaves me angry and speechless"

Trip Verified | Announcing the Gate (F9) only 45 mins before Flight and a way of more than 15 Min walking (approx 2,5-3km) up and down to end up in a(crowded hall with very few possibilities to sit leaves me angry and speechless. This is unacceptable.

"Avoid this airport if you have checked baggage"

Not Verified | Avoid this airport if you have checked baggage: lost 2/2 of our bags, huge unattended carts of lost baggage sitting everywhere with dates going back over a week - clearly no effort being made to return to travelers. Calling their help number is pointless: as soon as the recording announcing that they don’t open until 10, the line switches to “we’re unable to take your call at this time”. Click. Cuts you off. Worthless.

"Deterioration of passenger comfort"

Trip Verified | Deterioration of passenger comfort has taken another dramatic step at CPH airport with the removal of car rentals from previous easy access to a faraway remote location. The bus service to go there is dreadful, using ordinary city buses that are not equipped to take passengers with any luggage. There is no assistance with baggage for people in need. When returning the rented car, the place to return is difficult to find, there are no signs to indicate that this happens at a different place than the one where the car has once been picked up.I had to break different traffic laws in order finally to get there. In general terms, this latest hazzle adds on to a process where the airport over the past few years has become one of the most inhospitable of its site in the world and unless absolutely necessary I will avoid going there. I recommend the responsible authorities to seriously consider terminating the contract with the present owner/managing company as the airport conveys a totally wrong and frustrating image of what is actually a beautiful country and city.
