| This review is for T1. Arrival is smooth and quick as there are only few passengers and many open immigration counters. There are counters for Chinese passport holders, foreign passport holders, APEC, and crew as with other airports. The signs and direction from arrival gate to the immigration, baggage, customs, and exit are all clear. A few steps from the immigration is the baggage carousel and then another few steps is the customs counters and then the exit. There are taxi bays outside the terminal building and a bust waiting area. I am not sure if the airport is connected by a train to the city proper as I did not use nor check it. On departure check-in counters a less crowded as it ws an early flight. There is a security check upon entering T1 and then another one after check-in and then a final and more detailed one after immigration. There was no long queue and so I made it quick and fast to the boarding area. Just at the back of the immigration is Gate 101 which is my boarding gate and opposite it is Starbucks. There are only few stores and restaurants. Seats are not a problem as there are many empty ones. The toilets are clean and well maintained. Directions and signs are clear and understandable. Visa and Mastecard are accepted. The terminal is old but spacious. The thermostat just needs to be adjusted as it is warm and it makes me feel uncomfortable. The wifi si not working as well. Overall, I enjoyed this airport as an airplane enthusiast as it gives me a good view for plane spotting while waiting to board.
