Not Verified | Worst airport ever to drop off passengers! Rip-off by Wallonie government allowing the airport operator not to provide a free passenger drop off zone like in Brussels airport. Unbelievable policy. If you follow the 'airport signs' you are forced to enter an expensive parking. Pay euro 4 for 15 min (takes time to find a parking spot in the garage). On top of that bad signage around the airport, no signage that there is no free drop off and being forced to go into overcharged parking garage. Narrow driveways in the parking garage not well lighted. Very bad!

Not Verified | I’ve been to many an airport and this is the worst, even beats Leeds/Bradford. Charleroi has very little signage as to where to go either when you arrive or leave. And don’t even think about asking, anyone “foreign” will be met with a wall, and then they discuss you in French in a tone that you know is derogatory. Why work here when you clearly hate foreigners - It wasn’t just me as an English person. t Not surprised they had a strike the day before clearly they all hate their jobs. Won’t be back. Shame really because Belgium is a nice country.

Not Verified | I was mildly worried that my experience would be all bad plus Ryanair warned us to book in 3 hours early. Thus was very happily surprised that was cleared thought to departures in under 40 minutes from parking and, similarly, on return everything was smooth too. Okay the airport (T1) is a bit tired but not that bad and staff were friendly and efficient, cleanliness was no worse than I've seen in other airports and the food court is okay and only real negative is there is very little shopping to entertain. There is a quite nice to have outside sitting area to enjoy if the weather is good. It might be it was a mid-week departure and return but everything worked and we took off and landed on time so I think some people really have unrealistic expectations.

✅ Trip Verified | Chaotic boarding of shuttle bus from P3. So slow and inefficient that many passengers ran to terminal instead. T1 overcrowded and dirty. Security sent us to wrong queue. Lounge couldn’t scan QR code and I had to dig out printed receipt to prove payment. Lounge dirty, almost no clean tables and PA system blaring non stop announcements . Awful lounge and not worth the money.

How can you sell something online when it's just closed for a long time? Even at the time of writing the experience, the lounge is still for sale!
