| This is not an airport with lavish facilities and there's little need for them to have them. What they desperately need is staff that are not rude and who are liars. Our flight to Stansted was delayed from 2130 to 2235 but the airport staff deliberately gave false information to passengers by announcing that the flight was boarding when the inbound flight hadn't even arrived, then following it up by announcing it was closed in order to hurry and herd passengers into a woefully inadequate departure 'lounge' with no refreshment facilities except an overpriced machine and insufficient seating. That seating which is provided is extremely uncomfortable. The staff don't just give a Gallic shrug, they are actively rude and obstructive and refuse to give details of the airport complaints policy.
