"unbelievable, total chaos"

Not Verified | Worse travel experience in the worst airport ever. Arrived 2.5 hours early and barely made the flight by the stated gate closing time. Flight/gate was held 30 minutes otherwise less than 40 passengers would have made it by the official gate closing time! The airport is clearly too small to handle multiple flights. Hundreds of passengers squished together, limited staff (one for fast track and one for everyone else to check passports) is unbelievable, total chaos, travellers all stressed and the staff looked like they couldn't have cared less and no extra staff put in place to help even though they would know the numbers of people trying to travel- management needs replaced. Avoid at all costs. I know you expect budget when you fly a budget airline but this was unreal. Horrible end to a great holiday. Would rate them minus if I could.

"There was a shortage of staff"

Trip Verified | We arrived at Paris Beauvais Airport on a flight from Venice. We had 2 hours to get a connecting flight to Manchester. In this time we had to collect our cases from T2 and check them in at T1. This went smoothly part from no trolleys available. We have been on a cruise and had heavy luggage with us. Queueing for border control and security was the most stressful and frustrating experience ever (we have been around the world and in our sixties)! There was a shortage of staff, very rude and unhelpful. Queue was all the way into the main terminal area. We pointed out that our plane was leaving in half an hour when we were not even near border control and one staff member was shouting to my wife when we asked to get through on priority. Although many people in same situation as us, this staff member insisted checking the size of every bag. Even walking away weighing a bag and leaving everyone frustrated. We were the last people on the plane after many last calls. It is clear that this airport can’t handle many departures at the same time. Border control is the bottle neck. We will avoid this airport in the future at all cost.

Trip Verified | I would not count this to be an airport. It is just Barracks and some place for plane landing. Came 3 hours earlier than the flight and still the flight was delayed due to bad crowd managing. If there are 50 passengers, the Airport will be blocked. Very very bad place. I would not recommend this to anyone. Better pay more for the ticket and go to CDG.

Not Verified | This is the worst airport I have ever been to. This airport is not equipped for multiple flights on the same day never mind within an hour. The staff are extremely rude. They are slow workers that would rather stand and chat with there colleagues with no care for the customer/travelers or flight deadlines. Leaving customer to be late or miss flights. The way they spoke to another traveler who was needing to rush for her flight was outrageous. They have no manners at all.

Trip Verified | Worst airport experience I have ever had. If I could rate this place a minus 10 stars I would. The queuing system was a disaster, staff were rude and despite arriving 2 hours before the flight, we barely made it onto the plane before take off.

Trip Verified | Arrived 10pm for an overnight stay in the IBIS before a 10am departure. Place deserted. Nowhere to get anything to eat or drink. Walked to the terminal the following morning at 8 for a 10:10am departure. Utter pandemonium. Queue to get into the security queue ran the length of the terminal. Took me the whole 2 hours to get through. Staff calling people from the queue as their departure time neared. Crying children stressed parents. No time.to get food. Way too small for the volume of traffic. Avoid at all costs.

"the worst travel experience"

Trip Verified | This airport has been the worst travel experience in 50 years of traveling to many countries and through many airports. I have just arrived home and am still up the wall with anxiety, the staff are the rudest and most unpleasant people I've yet to experience in any airport. My card was cancelled due to fraudulent activity before I left for a few days away with my 15 year old son ,a small piece of hand luggage wouldn't fit into their measure and the nightmare began, had to check it in and then bring receipt to customer service to pay 35, they wouldn't take cash and at 4 in the morning told me to ring someone in Ireland with a card or I couldn't travel. I ended up almost begging for a solution but to no avail.

Not Verified | Horrendous. Avoid at all costs. Not worth the cheap flights with the cheap airlines. Full of ques, carnage and chaos. Shoved into prefabs like sardines and they call this an airport? Make sure you come on a full stomach as there are a selection of 3 cafes to eat from in all the airport. I also recommend to come with presents previously bought as the intention to buy them here won’t go down well with the very small, very limited ‘duty free’ shop. Staff are rude and unhelpful. As I write this I am sitting against the emergency fire exit door on my suitcase as I await my flight which is now 45 minutes late. This is a glorified trailer masked as a terminal. If I could rate this a minus 10 I would, but the lowest I can go is a 1 so that will have to suffice. I could go on as I have lots of time to do so and much more to say, however all in all you will never see me in this airport again.

"Absolutely appalling airport"

Trip Verified | Absolutely appalling airport .. avoid! This was my teenage daughter & friends first solo trip to Paris. They are 17 to. They unfortunately missed their flight as their flight number did not appear on the board and when asking for help were given incorrect information & got in the wrong flight. Ok, this is ultimately their responsibility to check/life lesson and all that, however the lady at the gate said there was a flight later for 100 euros that they could catch. They were told to go to the information desk to sort this out. They were behind a man who had lost all his luggage. Once they sorted him out the lady proceeded to ignore my daughter and her friend and served every other customer in the queue first. When they’d all gone, she turned to them and said I’ll be 10 minutes and disappeared. 20 minutes later she reappeared and told them that the price was now £340 per ticket as they only had an hour to get the 100 euro rate. My daughter and her friend were distraught as it was but the staff just laughed at them and the lady refused to give her name.

"Staff were rude and aggressive"

Not Verified | I simply cannot believe such an airport exists in Western Europe. Staff were rude and aggressive on arrival -conducting a bag size check/interrogation and picking on people, making them pay extra for hand luggage that was clearly within the size allowance. Luckily we had paid for ours upfront but they seemed to delight in others misery. The departure lounge was like a filthy refugee camp with people sitting all over the floors as there weren't nearly enough seats. Most disgustingly, in the café the assistant was swiping the counters with a filthy cloth and then wiped the pipes of the coffee machine with the same cloth - the same pipe that she placed in a jug of milk to heat it up. Our flight was delayed but we only discovered this when searching on our phone for the incoming plane - no information was given at any time. The vending machine did not have any water to purchase. And, the toilets smelled like a sewer, had no seats on the lavatories and were filthy with toilet paper littering the floors. A truly awful, and shocking, experience.
