"One of the most mismanaged, dirtiest airports"

Trip Verified | One of the most mismanaged, dirtiest airports. The bathrooms are nasty. Garbage overflows in the gate waiting areas as there is also trash and food all over the floors. One storm rolls through and you are shoulder to shoulder with tens of thousands of people. Then you get shuffled gate to gate through multiple changes. This little 20 minute storm causes a 7 hour delay! Restaurants and food kiosks close up and it’s 1 in the morning and no place to get food or even water for hours. They are the worst. Rude staff too. Avoid if at all possible! Oh, after multiple gates, we had to go to new concourse, but the train stopped working for the night. Long long walk.

"rude unhelpful airport staff"

Not Verified | Absolute chaos, rude unhelpful airport staff. Delays in security non functional internal transportation, over a 20 min walk to get to baggage and then a 50 min wait for hotel shuttle because they can only have 4 loading at one time. Good thing that this is no longer the worlds busiest airport. What an absolute embarrassment.

"Busy should not foster incompetence"

Not Verified | Hartsfield-Jackson airport has an unbelievable level of incompetence! Our entire experience was a nightmare. Starting from lack of parking when traveling with a blind person, to employees sleeping on the second level from the ramp from the second floor parking deck, misinformation from staff, horrible wheelchair services and not so customer friendly customer agents. Awful! And to make matters worst, when trying to voice my concerns with a rep that I was referred to, most a the conversation was dedicated to him attempting to justify with me why I was not seeing the whole picture. If I hear one more person attempt to justify incompetence by citing "Atlanta is one of the busiest airports in the world" I think I'll scream. Busy should not foster incompetence. If ever there is a vote for another entity to oversee the airport, I will vote for it! These people should be held accountable to do better.

"train was very efficient"

Trip Verified | I was hungry and just wanted a snack. The stores’ credit card machines were down so I couldn’t get the food or drink there. Then, while I was at the vending machines, they had a place to tap the card - that wasn’t working either. The train to the other concourse was very efficient and trains cam around much more often that in other airports!

"never encountered more rude people"

Trip Verified | I am pretty sure I have never encountered more rude people in such a short amount my of time. First we tried to get coffee at a bar (cause we wanted Baileys in it) and the lady rudely states, why don't you go to Starbucks? Then told us they didn't have coffee even though we could clearly see a fresh pot behind the bar. We proceeded to another bar, which was filthy, and sat down. We were ignored for probably 10 minutes while the sole bartender helped other people, etc. Another man came in and sat down, and she immediately waited in him, still ignoring us. On top of that, airline employees pushing wheelchairs without a care in the world who they are about the run into. You better move quickly for them or I'm pretty sure they will run you over.

"laziness, incompetence"

Not Verified | Left my phone in the secure section, used my phone locator and emailed a screenshot o the Airport lost and found with my report. It sat there for three days until the battery died. No replies to any of my emails. Then this, “Despite our best efforts, your item was not found. Your case is closed.” They should all be fired for laziness, incompetence, and not doing their job.

"security to bathrooms were so dirty"

Not Verified | Filthy dirty! Every space from security to bathrooms were so dirty. Staff walking the gate areas on their phones and unable to offer assistance. Not a positive experience. On a more positive note, Delta airlines customer service was great and the gate areas provided comfortable seating and a relatively clean space for waiting.

"Worst experience ever"

Not Verified | Worst experience ever. TSA not good anyway, but this was just thuggery and shouting. Luckily, you can just stare them out - don't react! Poor transit, rude staff except the Delta desk who had to sort out accommodation. This event was purely due to staff at Atlanta. Avoid if at all possible.

"Security queue was outrageous"

Not Verified | Dreadful, badly signposted, poorly staffed and filthy airport. I will actively avoid flying from here in future. The signage is so bad and we could find nobody to help us. Security queue was outrageous.
