Antalya Airport

Quick check in- Security and passport control very fast. But workers at the shops and duty free shop very unfriendly. Very expensive - water 3 euros Burger King menu more than 10 euros.

Arrival big queues for entry visas and passport control but these didn't last that long and we were through fairly quickly. Check-in was standard holiday had to queue for a short while but through security fairly quickly. Not far to all the departure gates from the departure lounge. Reasonable selection of shops and bars but if you can eat drink and do your shopping before you get to the airport as the prices are silly. So expensive for everything which really lets the airport down.

Domestic terminal. Used recently on flights from/to IST. My experience was very different from that noted by others. Calm efficient pleasant terminal in both directions. Screening to enter building and again after check-in is potentially a bit tedious but worked smoothly. Prices airside a bit steep but that's not just a peculiarity of ATL!

Awful Airport. Once your through passport control the prices literally sky rocket. Toilets very dirty floor covered in water. Oddly there is signs all around the airport saying it was awarded best in Europe don't understand how it got that.

Poor and incompetent ground staff no English and foreign language knowledge and skills! Security the most inefficient I never have seen very rude and impolite officers; food and beverage exorbitant prices. Facilities very dirty. An airport to avoid.

I hate the airport of Antalya on the return flight the experience spoiled the entire holiday! First incompetent counter staff which has no foreign language skills. Second the totally stupid security types which does not even work consistently. The beverage sellers in the duty free area continue to charge the most exorbitant prices. Announcements are also made with very poor foreign language skills.

Just got back and the airport was very quick and efficient on arrival - queuing times were not bad at all - however the departure was a sorry of constant queues and the price of food was absurd... 44 Turkish lira for 2 Burger King meals. This wasn't even the advertised price as an additional service charge was added. People were complaining but suddenly nobody speaks very good English. It felt like a dodgy Market trader ripping you off once you'd already accepted you were being overcharged. Avoid the food halls and duty free - duty free prices are the same as at home but the bottle sizes are different to make it appear a better deal.

Been there quite a number of times. Terminals are wide apart only Havas Bus runs to city and is overpriced. There is a local bus but no apparent stop and schedule. Usually huge lines at terminal entrance due to X-ray and check in counters due to holiday travellers. Celebi and Havas check in agents which handle almost every airline are usually not friendly. Airside area usually very crowded not much place to seat long lines at security not organized. All airport outlets terribly overpriced. Only good thing is that it's quite modern and clean. A typical airport for the holiday travellers which accept this kind of customer service.

Glad other people found prices ridiculous. And as for the Customs officers and immigration police. No "Welcome to Turkey". Instead you are met by off-hand unwelcoming officials who give the impression they are doing you a favour!

I remain totally baffled as to how the shopkeeper at the check in hall in terminal 1 is allowed the freedom to try and try being the operative word here and charge me 2.5 ytl for a newspaper the Turkish Daily News clearly marked 1.5 ytl and sold everywhere under the Turkish sun for 1.5ytl including as it happens Istanbul airport just twelve days before then tell me like some Bodrum con man that 1.5ytl is "Bazzar price" and 2.5 is airport price. He scanned it then over rode the price to slip in another lira for himself. Is there no-one in the airport looking out for this kind of thing. It can't be just me so this kind of thing is really really going to leave a bad taste in people's mouths as they head home more than enough to leave it as the most lasting impression of the beautiful city they've just visited.
