Not Verified | We were in the JFK lounge and everything was very good. The food was brilliant and service was very quick and so friendly. Thank you to Preet for helping us and for being so kind to all of you really made the lounge more enjoyable.

✅ Trip Verified | Virgin Atlantic has been marketing their product heavily in the US these last few months so decided to give them a try on my first trip to the UK. The seat, even for Economy, was very comfortable with ample legroom. Flight attendants were very professional and courteous. Food and drink service was good although the chicken pie served during dinner was a little bland. I barely used the IFE system but a quick browse prior to departure showed a decent selection of movies and user-friendly interface. The A330-900neo has only been a part of Virgin Atlantic’s fleet since October 2022 and was very fresh.

✅ Trip Verified | The flight was a disappointing experience. Firstly, the seat padding was well worn, the reclining button was very difficult to adjust. The passenger behind my seat had to assist me. Secondly, the sound system for announcements was in a poor condition and very soft and inaudible at times. Thirdly the Supper meal, I ordered a low fat meal was disgusting. It was dry and inedible. The English breakfast was no better. Stodgy and unappetising. No butter for the unhealthy white bun and no wet napkins to wipe your hands. Sparkling water was only available in the evening, not available in the morning. Fourthly, the air hostess, one in particular was very abrupt, disrespectful and just doing her job without a thought for the passenger who has paid a vast amount to occupy a seat on the plane. Also, some of the air hostesses were wearing ill fitting white blouses and had very messy hairstyles. Fifthly, the toilets disposal bin was overflowing and toilet paper ran out but was not checked during the 10 + hours flight by cabin crew. In contrast, the ground staff were very helpful and knowledgeable as well as putting one at ease. The flight was not one you would expect from this airline. Passengers are individuals and need to be treated in the correct manner.

✅ Trip Verified | I am a frequent flyer and rarely complain but Virgin planes on US to UK routes are extremely uncomfortable with very hard seats, extremely small toilets and super cramped. Please think very carefully to book Virgin on this route. Other route to Asia are better but US to UK will make you sick with terrible back pain.

Not Verified | Never flown with virgin before. It was an extremely impressive experience from start to end. Lots of helpful staff guiding people helping check in etc. Smooth boarding system calm and friendly. The flight cabin crews faultless. Clean and comfy seats. The food was the best ever experienced on a flight. Lots of fluids and treats, Couldn't fault it. Inflight entertainment great. Warm. Comfy pillow and blanket. As a health professional I think it would be even more impressive if you were to remind people to ensure to keep feet/legs moving on long haul flights and to courtesy cover hand with mouth when sneezing/coughing etc to keep themselves and fellow passengers everyone safe. Be innovative. I think no other airline does that? I will definitely be flying with virgin again. Excellent.

✅ Trip Verified | A vegan meal hadn't been added to my flight requirements by our holiday company (not Virgin), however our flight attendant, Lorna went above and beyond to find me a suitable meal and ensured that a vegan meal was requested for our return journey. I cannot thank her enough for this, she is a great asset to the Virgin Atlantic flight crew.

Not Verified | The service in San Francisco was very helpful, and they made the check-in process very fast. The boarding process was a little confusing, but we managed to get on the plane with no delays. The seats were a little rough on both the San Francisco to London and London to Delhi legs, which is a little disappointing considering I booked a premium economy ticket. The cabin crew was very friendly and showed care and appreciation towards us. Overall, I had a great experience with Virgin Atlantic and I am looking forward to flying with them again.

✅ Trip Verified | Booked to fly Premium and had to bring our trip forward 10 days. Virgin asked for an extra £8,000 to do so. We couldn’t afford that so had to pay £2,500 to fly back economy. I tried to fight this but had no choice as we would have lost all our money. When we came to fly home I spoke to a Virgin Manager at the airport about the extra costs. He told me that they could fill 20 flights a day on our route and it’s just down to ticket types. Given that our original flights were in the UK school holidays on his rationale they probably sold them for double what we paid and charged us £2,500 for the privilege.

✅ Trip Verified | I flew with family to LAX from LHR and I must say that from ground service to service provided in the aircraft was awesome. The check-in was a breeze at LHR and the boarding was quick and orderly. The aircraft was clean and the seats were very comfortable in economy class. There was a huge selection of movies and the food served was tasty. My only gripe is that Virgin Atlantic charges for Wifi whereas some airlines like Delta provide it for free. However, I will definitely fly Virgin Atlantic again and recommend it to anyone else as well.

Not Verified |  Never waste any money on this money grabbing company The worst experience in Business Class flying ever. Upper Class lounge not open, seats small hard and uncomfortable, cabin crew have to convert seat into a hard very flat bed with one small pillow and a thin duvet. Food was awful. We will never travel with Virgin Atlantic again and hope others will check before parting with hard earned cash.
