Not Verified | Washington Dulles to Honolulu. Never again will I fly United first class if I can help it. United's first class service is, at best, second class. We flew non stop from Washington, DC to Honolulu, HI. DC's lounge didn't open until late morning so there were no benefits on the ground. On board the seats were what you'd expect; service was mixed. One flight attendant was pleasant and one was rude. The on-board amenities are minimal - a pillow & blanket. Food options were available to some but several entrees were quickly, "no longer available". On our afternoon return we got United's notice that we should arrive 3 hours early due to security delays. We did; we also got checked in & through security in about 30 minutes. Having well over 2 hours we went to the United Club lounge to wait. That's where we were told that only first class travelers on international flights were permitted access! Short flights on discount fares is all United is good for any more. For comfort or luxury, Virgin, American and each European airline we've flown has had far superior service & amenities when compared to United.

"Never flying with them again"

Not Verified | Denver to Missoula. Never flying with them again. My flight has been delayed 4 times with a possible cancellation due to weather where the plane that I'm supposed to be on is coming from. They've told me if I do get a cancelation because of weather it's not their fault so they refuse to offer accommodations because as they said, "I can just sleep at the airport." Not only could i possibly have to pay for a hotel room and travel to and from the airport, but I'll be missing work. They dont care about their customers at all.

"Constant delays"

✅ Trip Verified | Portland to Milwaukee via Houston with United Airlines. Absolutely the worst airline I have ever flown on. Why have schedules if you cant even come close to keeping them. Delays due to dark clouds, no rain or high winds just dark clouds. Constant delays, you would probably be better off getting there on time through Greyhound.

Not Verified | Weather delays ended up making us miss our flight connection to CLL. Rather than getting off of the flight and immediately getting on the flight to CLL, we ended up waiting ~4 hours (it’s only an hour and a half drive to CLL by the way). By the time we understood the entire situation, all of the restaurants were closing. I went up to the Customer Service, and told them the situation. They couldn’t refund or cancel the second flight, which makes sense. I asked if we could get any access to the club, though, since the restaurants had closed. They just told me no. There was no apologies or compassion for the delay, just no and that’s pretty much it. I don’t really feel like I’m a valued customer for sure. Also, their boarding times are so ridiculously long, endless flight delays, and their lowest economy class seems like a pretty cheap way for them to earn more money for something that doesn’t really make much of an impact.

No customer service reps with help or explain anything. We are left here waiting. I have to be in a wedding g party tomorrows. We are paying for a car rental and a hotel as well because they dont know how to service their planes or have a back up. Disgusting

✅ Trip Verified | Chicago to Anchorage. United put our luggage on a different flight so our luggage wasn’t at our destination. We asked the baggage services and they said that it was sent to a different destination but did not know how or when it would make it to where we are. The clerk told us to call back in a few hours so we did and they did not answer. I packed (and paid for) luggage because I intended to use it but I guess that was too much to ask. Thanks for ruining our vacation.

Houston to Austin via Boston. I visited the US for a 3 week holiday June - July 2019. I flew United thrice. How many times did I experience delays? Thrice. Once upon connecting to my final destination upon arriving in the United States. There was a delay with my flight leaving Auckland. Touching down in Houston, I had 50 minutes to clear immigration, pick up and drop bags, and leg it to the gate. I didn't like my chances. I tried not to fret. I asked Border Security/United Representatives at every opportunity, 'My flight was delayed, I'm concerned I won't make my connection, can you please advise the gate staff that I'm cutting it fine." Every time met with: "Ma'am, don't worry, don't panic, you'll be fine." By some divineness, I made it to the gate with 20 minutes till departure! But United decided to close the door on myself and 20+ other travellers... such is. Had to wait 4 hours for the next flight, it was to Austin! Would have been quicker walking. Less than a week later. Austin - Boston via Houston. I was dreading going via Houston again! Once scarred. Long story short. Arrived at the airport nice and early, only for my flight to be delayed by several hours. I was extremely nervous, as I had a commute to make to Cape Cod after arriving in Boston..Needless to say, I arrived in Boston late, and had to travel by Uber (very costly) instead of the bus had United been on time! My last experience with United will remain my last, I shall never fly with them again. I am a conscientious, well-prepared, seasoned traveller, and shall not be reduced to anxiety because I know the time constraints and flying United releases me of any sense of control I feel whilst travelling whatsoever. My return flight home to Australia was a long connection of 6 flights (5 connections), guess which was my third flight and the only one with a delay?? United: Never again. I won't even elaborate on the unfriendly staff, the lack of amenities, the cost of checked in luggage, the cramped seating. Budget Airlines exist in Australia, but my delays with them lie far and few between. To experience 3 delays in a 3 week period with the same airline at the SAME airport? Beggars belief. Do yourself a favour- United: never.

✅ Trip Verified | Newark to Montego Bay. They left me and my family stranded in a foreign country at 3:30am after experiencing a 24 hour flight delay. Upon arrival, no hotel, no car - after promising to book us a room since they knew we had no means to drive 2 hrs at 3:30 am to our booked hotel. Vacation day 1 ruin; arrived a day late and no where to go - United will not accept any accountability - no reimbursement for extra expense - no partial refund - nothing!

"This Airline is horrible"

✅ Trip Verified | Do not use United Airlines. I had a 6am flight from New York to Hawaii with a connecting flight from Denver. Upon arrival around 8.10am my family and I proceeded to the gate where we advised that our connecting fight which should have been leaving from Denver at 9.40 am, was delayed until 1.00pm. In addition, we were assigned another gate and had to walk all the way to that location with all of our belongings. Then at 10.13 am we were advised that our flight delay had been extended to 5.00pm. I received this text message: “Your flight is delayed because of a crew scheduling disruption this morning. We know this wasn't part of your plans for today (it wasn't part of ours either), so we appreciate you hanging in there! We're doing our best to get you on your way as soon as possible”. Departure: Delayed (7 hrs 20 mins) plane-icon UA 328 Estimated: 5.00 pm Scheduled: 9.40 am. Once again, our gate has been changed and we have to lug all of our belongings to the new gate. I am beyond annoyed. This Airline is horrible. I’m traveling with my children and we have to spend the entire day in the airport. We now have to spend extra money on food for lunch which would have been included in our resort. The customer service is beyond long with people complaining of flight delays. If you want to get to your destination without delays because of "crew scheduling disruption" or any other issues choose another airline.

I think the company needs to train better and professional workers.no wonder United Airline has bad reputation for a while.
