✅ Trip Verified | Leipzig to Heraklion. It was on time and the staff was very polite. They had gifts for little children(we made two routes and they had different gift each time). The price was not normal for the route (i don’t know how the prices will be in the summer).

✅ Trip Verified | Flew Düsseldorf to Izmir. Make sure you breath in before you board this flight because there isn’t much room inside! Certainly a tight squeeze into the seats. Low cost no frills airline, gets you from A to B with the minimum of fuss. Staff friendly, no inflight entertainment other than opening and closing the window shutters. On board snacks and drinks available at cost (euros or Turkish lira). The airline website allows you to book certain seats with extra legroom (small additional fee) and I would advise that this is done. Other than being squashed it was a trouble free flight. And don’t forget to clap when the pilot lands. A good old Turkish tradition!

✅ Verified Review | Dusseldorf to Palma de Mallorca. We left bang on time on what we thought was Eurowings flight no EW9585 but it turned out to be a SunExpress flight. On boarding the plane the extremely friendly flight attendant took my 6 year old into the flight deck to meet the crew. A lovely lady who looked after all the passengers even asking if everything was OK at the airport. The second young lady was really nice talking to us a lot and we were even wished over the telecom a happy Easter (two weeks time). Seats were no problem as I am 6ft tall. Temperature was okay, unlike our outbound flight on Air Berlin. Every time I use Air Berlin we roast and I had to fan myself to keep cooler. I would definitely use SunExpress again if this is there service.

✅ Verified Review | Munich to Lanzarote. It started in the airport, where nobody had a clue about the company itself and in which gate we should have do our boarding. After some ping pong (with luggage and a 3 years old kid) between gate A-C-D (something like a kilometer and a half), finally someone showed up with meaningful information and let us in. And this was just the beginning. Due to weather conditions in Lanzarote, we have been sent to Fuerteventura, waiting in the airport for the wind to slow down. I can understand this is not something the airline can fix, but what happened in the FIVE HOURS later was a nightmare. Basically we have been kept inside the aircraft, without the possibility to get out and have at least dinner (the flight should have land at 5.00PM, and we have been trapped in the aircraft until 10.00PM!), and not even being offered some water. Our son was exhausted, and we had to pay the crazy price of in-flight fares to get water (2.50€ half liter) and cookies (something around 3€). In addition, the restrooms were absolutely horrible after all the passengers used them for 5 hours. Last but not least, we were told "please keep seated" without any information for 5 hours. I'm pretty sure I will never ever book a flight again with this company, since, apart from being redirected to another airport (outside of their control) they treated me and my family (and all the passengers) as animals and not humans (even worse since they made a lot of extra money selling water and other low-quality food and beverage for additional hours just around dinner, good move!)

Amsterdam to Antalya - I had never had heard of SunExpress before. I always check review and ratings first and I thought "this can't be too bad!". I'm not saying it is my worst flight ever, as the crew were friendly and communicated well. It's just that the planes lack equipment. After I got to my seat, I immediately felt pretty uncomfy. The plane itself and the seats felt so old. There were no TVs or other sources for entertainment. No moving map or flight stats. Don't bother wasting money on food that doesn't even look inviting. Although the crew was nice, I'm probably never going to fly with SunExpress again.

Thessaloniki to Düsserdorf with Eurowings but operated by SunExpress. The plane was a B737-800 which was 15 years old and I can confirm that the plane felt this old. The seat in front of me was half broken, the table didn't have cup holders and the legroom wasn't great for a 190cm man but comfort was okay. The cabin crew was friendlier than usual and offering more than my other flights with Eurowings.

We flew from Norwich to Dalaman on a Thomas Cook charter using SunExpress. The plane was clean and the flight attendants were pleasant. SunExpress does have a low cost feel to it, but all said and done we had two enjoyable flights.

We had a delay with SunExpress of 5 hours. It took us nearly one hour to get information. After that they only gave us a bottle of water and a litle sandwich. I mede a claim to them because we arrived very late, nearly lose our car rental and arrive at 11 pm at Kusadasi to the hotel, loosing our paid dinner paid. I received no kind of explanation.

The flight was on time and the crew onboard were very nice. The plane was a four year-old Boeing 737-800 leased from GOL. The seat was comfortable, it was also from GOL. The onboard service was good, but you have to pay for food and drinks. The prices for food and drinks were ok. In the seat pocket were lots of magazines. There was no Inflight entertainment but it will be retrofitted. Also there was no WiFi connection it will be retrofitted too. SunExpress is a great holiday airline.

IST-FRA. The plane was very old seats worn out and very hard. The outside and the interior of the plane looked as if it had been used for a cross-country race. It did not give me the feeling that the plane was very safe! No priority of boarding was given to families with small children. The service was ok but not very friendly. Food was almost thrown into your face and was very basic. The prices are not always much cheaper than THY and their service and planes are a sometimes a bit better and sometimes much better. I will not travel with SunExpress any more if I do not have to!
