I recently flew round trip on SAS from Newark NJ to Copenhagen and then Copenhagen to Munich. All four flights were on time and the service was excellent. SAS has a nice customer-friendly approach. The meals were relatively good and offered variety. The entertainment options were numerous. Based on my experience over four flights I would certainly fly SAS again.

Our first flight with SAS Airline and it was excellent every step of the way from ground staff in UK (Manchester) who were very helpful and friendly to all infight staff. An excellent flight and we hope to travel SAS again. We booked via the internet and the website was so easy to move around.

OSL-CPH-MAD-CPH-OSL recently. The trip down to Madrid was a breeze. The return started well with again swift boarding and push-back. However then it all went wrong. We had to be towed back to gate disembark and were told we would get food while they looked in the technical problem. They told us to come back in 2 hours. It constantly got delayed by 1-2 hours for a total of 10 hours. Instead of spending an extra day at a hotel or something we just hung around the gate until an SK flight from Malaga-CPH flew down and picked us up. We landed at CPH at 1.30am. Got a hotel could chose next day departure flight and was in bed within 20 minutes.

Return from SYD-CPH via BKK. TG operated SYD-BKK return legs. Flight to CPH was average. Return flight was where it went sour. Delay out of CPH of over 3.5 hours. Last flight of the night in CPH so little to no food in the lounge (5 hour wait there) and eateries closed. Departure after 2am meant I had 30 minutes to make my connection to SYD. No announcements about international connections during flight only advice was to 'check the board at BKK'. Arrived at the gate just in time to board my connecting flight to SYD only to be advised that I had been offloaded by SAS. SAS rebooked me on an EK flight leaving 90 minutes later. This ended disastrously after I ran through the airport trying to reach the flight on time only to be told I had to pay a fortune in excess luggage fees. When I asked the SAS rep about my connection arrangement she waved her hand in my face and proceeded to speak in Thai to airport staff. 2 hours later I was sent to a hotel with no instructions or information about my connecting flight. Delays are one thing but poor customer service is another. SAS customer service as a whole at BKK and on the CPH-BKK flight in terms of keeping passengers informed was nothing short of shocking.

ORD-CPH-BRU round-trip. Check-in was fast with nobody in line. The seat was nice with plenty of leg room however hard to get out when the person in front of you had their seat reclined. Choice of 20 movies to choose from. Two services for ORD-CPH one right after take off and one before landing. Drinks are not unlimited but are complimentary with meals. During CPH-BRU I had tea and coffee complementary food and drinks were at a charge. Return was the same. A great flight for the price I paid. Recommend between Chicago and Europe.

SK942 Airbus A340-300 ORD-CPH October 9th 2012. We arrived with American Airlines from LAX and landed at O'Hare 30 mins before the SAS departure. We arrived at the gate 10 mins before departure and boarded with no rush. We were pushed from the Gate 5 mins late and was airborne 10 mins thereafter. The whole experience was excellent except the seats in economy class - hard and uncomfortable and need an upgrade.

GOT-CPH-IAD. Both flights on time was accommodated to be able to sit next to my husband on the flight without problems. Rude personnel at baggage drop/check in and gate; however flight attendants were very nice. Comfortable flight but next time I will probably choose a different airline due to the attitude from my initial encounters with representatives.

I got a direct flight from EWR-CPH so not having to switch planes probably upped this review a notch. FA's were quite efficient and polite the food was good and they were on time. The seats are horrible and the offering of movies is a joke compared to other Star Alliance flights. But for the money a non-stop flight from the States to Copenhagen is great!

CDG-CPH-BKK. Flight from Paris delayed over an hour. Very speedy meal service had barely started and coffee was offered and that was the only time coffee was offered so went without as there was no room to have a coffee on the small tray as well. Next leg to BKK on an A340. My seat 3H did not work took over an hour to get it down into position close to the lie flat bed (moving a few cm's at a time). Come morning I was overlooked by staff at first for breakfast as I was still lying down. Finally I snapped at a FA and finally got them to understand that the seat was broken. FA Barked at me to get out of seat then she got down under it and did what ever she had to and finally got the seat up. No apologies. Although in previous reviews I would have been happy to recommend due to price this is no longer the case - I expect a seat that works and friendly crew. I will not fly with SAS again unless they do something about their ageing fleet.
