ARN-MLA 737-800. Travelled on one of these "charter" destinations with SAS. It's an all charter experience. Last year I decided to fly in Economy Extra but it's not worth the money so this year it was economy. We took off within 5 min from scheduled departure. Pretty full flight and 4 cabin staff onboard. Still it took almost 2 hours before we were offered to buy something to eat or drink. Flight was smooth but with a very tired cabin staff. Landed on time in Valletta.

CPH-LHR. SK505. I luckily got seat 7D just behind SAS Plus/Go which take up the first 6 rows. I was surprised to note that the 'Business' class rows were completely full across the rows exactly the same as economy. I would certainly not pay extra for that service. Flight was good tea and coffee free landed early with quick baggage delivery.

23rd June Flight 944 Economy Chicago OHare - Copenhagen - Gothenburg. Return on 30th June. European based travelers may not be overly impressed with SAS but compared to United or American Airlines which fly out of our home in Chicago economy class on SAS is like flying first class on them! Free meals no baggage fee free snacks drinks towels pillows blankets; all the things you pay extra for on United or American. More legroom cleaner toilets outstanding attendants on our flight. On the way back when the pilot announced we had to wait 15 min for a gate a Danish girl's chorus burst into a beautiful traditional folk song in 4 part harmony that had everyone on the plane cheering! I'd fly SAS again in a New York Minute. We had passes to the VIP lounge which was excellent.

I travelled yesterday from Oslo to London and experienced a distressing situation trying to access the toilet facility with a grumpy unhelpful hostess not prepared to move her trolley x2rows. It took 20 minutes before the facility was available. It is our first and last trip with SAS.

Going to Copenhagen (Economy) seats were tight but that's what I paid for. Service and food okay. Certainly not rude but not very many smiles. Movies okay. Air comes out and blows toward centre of plane so window seats not the best choice. Coming back to USA pleasantly upgraded to Economy extra. Better meal wider seats. Crew were very pleasant on this leg of flight. All flights were timely if not early. No problem at all with baggage. Was afraid to fly on this airline due to reviews but I would definitely use again. Most complaints come from European travelers.

DUB-ARN return both ways on Boeing 737-600. Check in was nothing special ground staff were pleasant. I find the check in system in ARN slightly confusing but ground staff were lovely and helped out. On board however it was an entirely different story. Stony faced cold unwelcoming cabin crew all but one of which didn't at all smile. Seats were hard and uncomfortable. I had less legroom than on a Ryanair flight which for a full service airline and more importantly a full service price. Also there was no food offered only cups of water. Everything else was a buy on board service which for a full service airline is just disgraceful. Positives however were a clean plane and on time departure and arrival.

LHR-ARN ARN-HEL and HEL-GVA. Very poor check-in staff who managed to redirect luggage to wrong airport but sometimes these things do happen. Cabin staff surly and astounded to find out that absolutely no food is offered even on a 3hr flight. Only tea or coffee offered everything else you have to pay for. Really not acceptable for a 'full-service' airline. No entertainment on board. Will stick to SWISS where possible!

Second Journey to Tokyo from Copenhagen with SK0983. Unfortunately there was a 2 hour delay but there was good flight information and journey took only 10 hours from Copenhagen to Tokyo. Good Entertainment selection and Food was a great improvement from last journey 3 months ago. Staff always professional and helpful. I have travelled With SAS the last 30 years I must say all in all that I have always experienced good service and flights With SAS.

SAS Scandinavian customer review

Once again travelled with SAS since their new business concept were adapted. I had a ticket saying Business Class (C) and by SAS new definition this means SAS Plus. The flight was SK580 from CDG to ARN with a Boeing 737-700W and although a long term Eurobonus Gold member I was given seat 2B (middle seat) with no possibility to change seat. Since SAS introduced SAS Plus there is no longer a free middle seat. The very good food previously served is also gone. Now the only option is to choose something from the so called "Sky Cafe" i.e. cold food with low quality like a sandwich or a salad. During my six flights since the new service concept were introduced there have been no variation in the menu. To me this is a disaster. The once proud Scandinavian carrier seems to have lost the battle. A worse service in C-class can probably not be found in Europe. Sorry SAS I will shift to another Alliance that still cares about their frequent flyers.

Travelled SK1606 Boeing 737-600 ZRH-ARN on June 13 2013. This was my second experience with SAS newly adopted SAS Go and SAS Plus. I travelled in SAS Plus at seat 1F. Cabin staff at SAS are generally very friendly and service minded. The new SAS Plus (C-class) is however a greatly degraded service compared to the previous Business Class. To my opinion even the former Economy Extra was much better. In SAS Plus you are served (free of charge) a limited choice of cold sandwich or a cold salad i paper boxes with plastic cutlery. Exactly the same choice is offered in SAS Go but then you have to pay for it. There is no longer a free middle seat in SAS Plus. Together with the old and worn down interior of the Boeing 737-600 this was a huge disappointment. I have travelled with SAS for many years but now I think I will reconsider.
