QF27 from SYD to SCL. Cabin crew old and tired and obviously hating their job. In spite of being a trip to South America some if not most members couldn't speak Spanish and I heard one woman answering rudely to a passenger asking for help to locate her seat (many passengers were senior tourists and visitors returning to S.A). Faulty and old-tech inflight entertainment best food choices finished early leaving last passengers with a non- edible salad that others had rejected. I will never again travel with this airline. I didn't know "special promotion" meant being subjected to gruelling travelling conditions.

I have made the Qantas flight from Wellington to Sydney sixteen times in the last year flying Business Class. The food was consistently poor. The inflight service was excellent. Inflight entertainment was excellent. Have a good meal before departure.

LAX-BNE-AKL. Great service from flight crew. Lie flat bed with topper was OK and comfortable but not as good as more modern seats. Had single seat 5J which is great if traveling alone. New First lounge in LAX is very nice. Quick hop across Tasman in 737 with always friendly Kiwi crew.

Flew Business Class from Melbourne to London (with stop over at Dubai). The first and longest leg was dreadful. The female cabin crew member who was demonstrating safety procedures just scowled. Not offered much to drink. Man next to me made his bed flat and strapped himself in clearly not wanting to be disturbed. I sat watching the rather small screen entertainment and closed my eyes occasionally. Was I asked if I wanted a meal? No. When I realised I had missed food I was told service had finished so had a whisky instead. Business Class? We weren't able to land in Dubai so circled for a long time before diverting to Bahrain to refuel. Waited there and flew back. This added over four hours to flying time. I was given one can of ginger beer in that time (and that was offered with a scowl). The seats were all right but nothing special. The service was diabolical. In many years of flying all across the world this cabin crew was one of the worst I have encountered and did nothing for the reputation of Qantas. On the second leg Dubai to Heathrow however the cabin crew were polar opposite: friendly and helpful. Food was nothing special though. I used Qantas with great expectations and found it wanting.

Flew QF1 SYD to Dubai - Very disappointed with this trip. Seat was uncomfortable and narrow. No pre dinner drink now only a welcome cordial. I pre ordered dinner and it was overcooked and barely warm when served. It was tasteless and simply the worse airline meal I have experienced. The arrival refreshment in to Dubai was average. The entertainment system was good. The crew were indifferent. Most didn't seem to want to be there and did very little on this flight. Overall was expecting far more from Qantas especially after experiencing the improvement within the domestic business. I transferred to an Emirates flight (Qantas flight number) and they are certainly miles ahead of Qantas. I am due to fly Qantas to America later on in the year and I am not looking forward to it. Would not recommend Qantas for an international flight in economy.

QF18 (JFK to SYD via LAX) and QF431 (SYD to MEL) on 2015/05/18-20. Despite the fact that both of the first two legs of the trip delayed by more than an hour we were kept relaxed and calm by the nice cabin crew who helped us rebook our connecting flights. Nobody onboard actually complained about the lengthy delays. However I soon discovered I was on an older B747 aircraft the entertainment system was difficult to use onboard as it wasn't a touchscreen and it crashed often. The whole design of the interface also resembled an old computer operating system from the 1980s-90s. There was also not a lot of choice of movies compared to the QF A380. When I was watching a movie it got stuck quite often. However despite all this I have not lost faith in QF as a preferred airline.

QF 98 HKG-BNE on new interior A330. My first flight with Qantas and very pleased. New seats have top notch entertainment system and a foot bag underneath the seat in front of you which I found brilliant. Crew was very warm and accommodating I went into the galley mid-flight for a snack and the FA heated a muffin up for me in the oven. I found the new meal service without the trays refreshing. 3 healthy choices for both breakfast and dinner I for instance had an excellent duck noodle salad. 5 different wines on offer! Only downside I found was the outrageous 25 AUD$ charge for seat selection. But will absolutely fly them again when in the region.

QantasLink Perth to Darwin via Alice Springs. 717 on this route managed to score exit row seat. First leg you get lunch which was Thai beef wrap and cookies then second leg hot dish. Food nice enough service very good flight on time.

I regularly travel on QF497 Sydney to Melbourne. I choose this flight as it is the last flight to Melbourne and I can take advantage of a whole day in Sydney. Being a late departure the Qantas Terminal is always quiet so check in and security is a breeze. Qantas gate staff are forever pleasant and welcoming. Onboard depending on which day you'll fly in a 737-800 or Airbus A330 aircraft pushback is quick and before you know it supper is served attentive crew and always on time. Highly recommend this flight for any late departures back to Melbourne.

Just done a trip from Sydney to New York on QF11 and return to Brisbane on QF 16 in business class. The aircraft from Sydney was meant to be an A380 but this was switched to a reconfigured 747. Was a bit disappointed but the crew and service was great on both legs. I think Qantas must have done some retraining as they were friendly efficient and happy to be there ( which hasn't always been the case). Lie flat seat was comfortable and I was able to sleep well Food was tasty on all legs the menu variety was worthy of business class. Crew topped up wine regularly. Would recommend Qantas this time although it is expensive.
