✅ Trip Verified | I had the worst experience flying with IndiGo. My checked baggage, which included expensive items, was missing upon arrival. Despite contacting them multiple times, they failed to locate my items. To make matters worse, my baggage was delayed for over 50 hours. I had to spend money on buying clothes and essentials for two days because of their incompetence. The delay also ruined my travel plans, as I had to stay in an expensive hotel near the airport to wait for my bag. Their "compensation" was a 2000 INR travel voucher, which is insulting given the financial loss and inconvenience caused. I didn’t even get a proper apology, just excuses and poor customer service. They also charged me extra for a surfboard I already paid for in advance. I am appalled by their lack of professionalism and customer care. If you're looking for a reliable airline, do not choose IndiGo. This experience has been a nightmare, and I would never fly with them again.

✅ Trip Verified | Even though I had done my web check in successfully I got notified few days before my flight that the airline was looking for volunteers to go for an alternate flight with the amount credited for that flight accordingly for those who were willing to be flexible. I did not use that as I had to travel on this flight back to CCU. Unfortunately I also got news of my flight being delayed from the original departure time of 20.45 to now 21.15 and then more delayed till 22.15 due to the delay of the incoming flight from Mangalore. As a compensation at the time of boarding the staff provided a bag of chips and chocolates which was a nice touch. We did try to make up for the time en-route though. I believe IndiGo handled the delay well keeping everyone informed and also providing that little snack / chololates bag as compensation which was appreciated

✅ Trip Verified | The mid morning flight took off on time from CCU and as I had to go to Bangalore for work, my company had booked this flight for me. Web checkin and baggage drop were smoothly done. Boarding also started on time. Landing and disembarkation also happened swiftly along with baggage retrieval which was good. IndiGo may not be a glamorous carrier but it gets the job done of taking you from point A to point B efficiently.

✅ Trip Verified | Horrible transit experience. The check-in staff insisted that i book an onward ticket from my destination even though i have residence there. They were also obsessed with any single little item i was having as cabin luggage. The first flight was operated by Norse Atlantic, with very good Norwegian crew. Plane immaculate, excellent IFE. No service except for cup of water. In Delhi we were greeted by an Indigo employee. We were then taken to take security control and there they took from people all sorts of stuff. Anyway, that walk through security took a whole hour after an already long flight but our following plane was just 4 gates from the one in which we landed i.e a 5-10 min. walk. Instead they took us through the whole airport just to be controlled again. Madness. Next flight A320, also no service, paper thin seats, miniature lavatories and seat belt sign throughout entire flight. Avoid this airline at all costs.

✅ Trip Verified | I had a horrible experience travelling with IndiGo. They saw a "restricted item" (a lighter forgotten in a pocket) and decided to open the luggage to remove it, which got it delayed so it didn't get loaded in the flight. They told me at the arrival they didn't know where it was but that they were going to contact me when it arrived. I called them every day to ask where it was at, they had no answer for me, for two weeks, they didn't know, they were telling me it is my fault for carrying a lighter. It finally arrived after two weeks, they told me to get it whenever, but when I came nobody knew where it was and I paid the trip to the airport for nothing. The next day same thing, but luckily an Indian friend was there with me and didn't let it go, and after two whole hours of waiting at the airport entrance, trying to catch indigo employees, they finally located our luggage. indiGo is refusing to give any compensation, saying the empty lighter classified the luggage as category 4 security threat and that it my fault. Never flying with them again.

✅ Trip Verified | I consistently prefer airlines that allow me to complete immigration and customs procedures in Chennai, India, ensuring my luggage is checked through to my final destination. Consequently, I avoid Air India, which necessitates customs clearance in Delhi or Mumbai. Since 2004, my only options have been foreign airlines. Recently, I booked an international ticket with Indigo for my journey from India to Australia for the first time. Indigo offered a route from Chennai to Singapore on flight 6E 1025, followed by a connection to Sydney with its partner Qantas on flight 6E 4674 (operated by Finnair). I was thoroughly impressed with both Indigo and Qantas. Indigo, as the marketing partner, facilitated a seamless check-in process at Chennai airport, where my luggage was checked through to Sydney, and I received both boarding passes at that time. The Indigo flight 6E 1025 was a new A320, just 0.3 years old, with attentive crew members and a thoughtful food pack. Both departure and arrival were punctual. The Qantas flight, operated by Finnair, also departed on time, providing good service. Overall, the experience was excellent and offered great value for money, earning my commendation for Indigo.

Not Verified | SIN - TRZ. I purchased a Super 6E ticket with Rava Upma with beverage. As the flight started at 2.45am, I was asleep for the first 2 hours. The next 2 hour I was awake and realised that they had completed giving out the meal. No cabin crew approach me for my meal. When the captain started to descend about 30 minutes before landing, one cabin crew approach me to provide my meal and gave me the option to take away. I ordered the meal to be consumed in the flight and not at the airport. I was wide awake for the last 2 hours and no one bothered to give me my meal. I refused the meal and am very disappointed on the cabin crew service. Even a restaurant staff is any time better than Indigo cabin crew. They are more concern with all other duty except for serving the passengers. TRZ - SIN. For the return flight Super 6E service, I had purchased additional Bag, and Prepaid Excess Baggage 15kg So I have 50kg with additional bag. I checked in at TRZ the 50kg and had a hand carry luggage of 4Kg and my laptop bag. I pleaded with the Indigo staff (Hemalatha) to see if I could also check in my hand luggage as I have an hairline fracture on my left wrist. Ms. Hemalatha said that I can only check in if I have my allowance in the 50kg. Considering that I bought additional kg and have my left wrist hairline fracture, I believe Indigo can make an exception to check in the 4 kg hand carry. Disappointed on the way your staff handled it. The announcement and recorded messages in flight are all in Hindi and English. The flight is travelling from Tamil Nadu to Singapore, where Tamil is an official language. 99% of the passengers are all Tamil and mostly worker who are low educated and do not understand Hindi or English. If there is an accident of the aircraft, would the workers know what to do? The safety briefing was also in Hindi and English. Even Singapore Airlines flying this sector uses Tamil. Why is Indigo not using a language for the passengers who will understand.
