"no service of a working screen or wifi"

Trip Verified | The flight from Bali Denpasar to Jakarta was great and good organised. However in the flight from Jakarta to Amsterdam the screen and sound was not working of seat 35A. We switched headset to check if the headset was broken but all headsets gave no sound. So the screen and sound were broken. No movies or music could be watched or listened. We asked the stewardess and after a couple failed restart of the screen we asked if it was possible to change seat. Only one of us could change somewhere else or a person who was a sleep in de first 15 minutes of the flight should be asked to change so we could sit together but they did not want to wake her up. So no indication when she would wake up. After an hour we had to ask if she woke up because of the food round and they said she did not want to change. There was no wifi connection and we paid a lot for the flight and chairs to sit together. With a 13,5 hour flight and no service of a working screen or wifi for this kind of money should at least deserve something in return. We got home safe with baggage but it is not nice that you pay this much without entertainment service which should be included.

"high and consistent level of service"

Trip Verified | Flew on GA-402 Jakarta - Denpasar. Check in was quite fast as it was an early morning flight. After check-in I was then escorted by Mr. Noval to the Garuda lounge. In the lounge breakfast was being served as well tea, coffee, together with juices and other snacks. The Staff in lounge were quite helpful and the lounge is itself was very clean and here was sufficient space to find somewhere to sit. There is a fast free Wi-Fi and log on details are located throughout the lounge. When it came time for boarding Novel escorted me to the gate. The flight itself was an early morning flight and was full. There was full meal service onboard, and I chose the omelette together with tea. The overall food quality and service was quite good. We arrived in Denpasar a little behind schedule however it was not an inconvenience. I was met at the aircraft door by Garuda PSA Team member Mr. Sony who escorted me to the baggage area. I collected my baggage and was on my way within 10 minutes after landing. That is some service. Garuda-Indonesia consistently provides a very high and consistent level of service.

"Overall good flight and service"

Trip Verified | Flew on GA 863 Sorong to Jakarta, the flight. The inbound flight was slightly delayed due to bad weather conditions in Sorong, and this had a knock-on effect, however Garuda was able to carry out a fast and safe turn around. The flight was full, and I am amazed how 3 members of the economy cabin team could serve all passengers, however they did very it very efficiently. The cabin crew polite and professional. Overall good flight and service.

"cabin crew were most helpful"

Trip Verified | Flew on GA862 Jakarta to Sorong and the check in experience was good and the Garuda ground support team were very helpful, and escorted me through security via the SKY Priority Lane to the lounge. In the lounge there were food and snacks together with soft drinks, tea, and coffee. The lounge was clean as were the toilets. When it came for boarding, I was provided with a buggy as the gate was some distance from the lounge. The boarding experience was quick and friendly, and I was shown to my seat. As it is an overnight flight snacks were offered within 30 minutes of take-off. The flight itself was uneventful, however the cabin crew were most helpful when called upon.

"Had a very pleasant experience"

Trip Verified | Garuda Indonesia service is back! Had a very pleasant experience from check in until landing. The Cabin Crew was extremely nice and charming. The food on board just normal, not so bored and not so fancy, but the taste is delicious. However, they need to improve or update the AVOD. The movie and the music is old and too few.

"changed our 5h direct flight"

Not Verified |  Garuda Indonesia changed our 5h direct flight to a 9h flight with a stopover with little notice for both directions of the flight. Had we known in advance we would have gone with a different airline as the point of paying for a direct flight is to fly directly to the destination. This was in both directions.

"I really appreciate the service"

Trip Verified | Flew on GA-089 from Amsterdam to Jakarta. I know that I regularly write about Garuda-Indonesia, however I was lucky to have flown with the same crew as the inbound flight. The service on Garuda-Indonesia is always good however on the outboard flight there was something I had never notices before. Every time you left your seat weather to go the toilet or somewhere else the crew always adjusted you seat and ensure that the seat belt was reset correctly. It is such a small gesture, but remarkable that the cabin crew even though about carrying out such a function. Check in was very good and then I proceeded to the Schiphol VIP center which Garuda-Indonesia provide a spart of their First-Class service. It is an outstanding service. Upon boarding the aircraft, you get the same outstanding Garuda-Indonesia welcome. Service throughout the fight was excellent. The meals servred onboard were outstanding by Pak Andi teh Chef onboard. On up arrive in Jakarta I was meet at the aircraft door by both Nidya and Fauzy who guided me through Immigration and customs. I would like to say I big thank you to both of you. I really appreciate the service that you both provided.

"very attentive through out the flight"

Trip Verified | I flew on Garuda-Indonesia on GA088 from Jakarta to Amsterdam in July 2023. I was pick up from my home by Garuda-Indonesia driver and dropped off at Terminal-3 where I was greeted by the Garuda PSA Ground team who helped me check in, get through immigration and into the lounge. In the first-class lounge, drinks, snacks, and full pre-boarding menu was available, however I chose fruits only. When it came time to board, I was escorted to the aircraft. After takeoff, the chef provided me with a menu, however as I wanted to sleep, therefore I chose a lite snack. I was able to get a good 6 hours sleep and the cabin crew were always available to provide drinks and snacks. I order breakfast which was served approx. 3 hours prior to landing. In fact, breakfast could have been served anytime of my choosing. The section of food for breakfast was quite good. In the first class cabin the team of Vvi Dewi, Afrodita, Chef Andi Susanto and Prisila were very attentive through out the flight and their personal touch was much appreciated and I would like to thank them for their outstanding service. Upon arrival in Amsterdam, I was met at the plane door by the Schiphol VIP Center team which is part of Garuda Indonesia service. Where I transferred to the VIP lounge to await my connecting flight.

"cabin crew were very welcoming"

Trip Verified | Flew GA-823 Singapore to Jakarta. I checked in in Terminal-3, however I had to go to Terminal-1 for boarding. The good thing in Changi airport is that the Skytrain is quite fast, therefore no issues getting between terminals. Check in was ok, however it would have been good to have received a response to my good morning. The check-in staff in Singapore are not Garuda-Indonesia staff and that shows by their attitude. Boarding the aircraft was good and orderly. The cabin crew were very welcoming upon boarding and was they directed to my seat. We pulled back from the gate on schedule and was airborne soon after. After takeoff, the cabin crew offered a selection of food and hot drinks for breakfast, and I chose the scrambled eggs. The meal was well presented and tasted good. We landed in Jakarta 15 minutes ahead of schedule, where I was met at the gate by a Garuda ground team who escorted me through immigration and on to the baggage carousel to collect my baggage. I was then escorted through customs and out to my car. Another good flight on Garuda-Indonesia

"Overall, another good flight"

Trip Verified | Flew on GA-683 Sorong to Jakarta. Check in was quite fast even though only two desks were open. I then proceeded to the local lounge used by Garuda-Indonesia. In the lounge soft drinks, tea, coffee, and snacks were provided. It is a small lounge; however, the staff are very helpful. When it came time for boarding the process was fast and efficient which allowed us to take off on time. The flight itself was a morning flight and took approx. 3 hours and 35 minutes. I had ordered a diabetic meal which was promptly served to me just after take-off. The cabin crew were very helpful, and they showed that they really do care about their passengers even for short flight they provided a meal and then before landing a snack.. We arrived in Jakarta right on schedule and I was met at the gate by Garuda PSA Team member was escorted to baggage area. I collected my baggage and was on my way 15 minutes after landing. That is excellent service. Overall, another good flight on Garuda-Indonesia.
