"just outright nice"
N Christian (United States)
Not Verified | I wasn’t feeling to well in the middle of the flight and I just wanted to say thank you for the flight attendants on flight 2478 on June 4th from Dallas Ft Worth to Sacramento. They took good care of me. They were very professional and just outright nice. All of them represented their company very well. Thank you.

"waiting on flight attendants"
S Heale (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | Chicago to Kansas City. I am sitting in Chicago waiting on your flight attendants because of poor planning on American Airlines part. Can we not just leave without them? I do not need a drink. The issue is is that they just don't care how you inconvenience others who have to just willing deal with their obvious ability to plan ahead. It is Chicago - American Airlines have hundreds of flights going in and out can't they have backup flight attendent!!

"Completely unprofessional"
J Lindstrom (United States)
Not Verified | Philadelphia to Tucson. Absolutely disappointed with trip. First flight was cancelled with only minimal time to reschedule. Rescheduled flight was delayed and captain did horrible job or letting us know and was unsympathetic. No real answers provided except it may be an additional hour stuck on a full flight with a 80% humidity and no air. Completely unprofessional and even de-boarding instructions were less than helpful. You have found a way to lose me not only as a business client but also a personal customer - good job American Airlines.

"pleased with the flights"
T Meale (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | Flew Economy round trip between Philadelphia to Budapest about a week and a half after American Airlines started this seasonal service. Overall, I was very pleased with the flights. American's 800-number agents were helpful and friendly; the website was easy to navigate for making reservations; transfers between international and domestic American flights at PHL are easy via an airside shuttle bus or a pleasant 15-minute airside walk. Although older, the Boeing 767 worked well for me: I liked the 2-3-2 seating in Economy, legroom was adequate, seats were reasonably padded, the lavatory had just enough room, and with only around 200 passengers, boarding and deplaning were fairly quick. In Economy, there is no individual flight entertainment. Cabin crew on both flights were attentive and amiable. Check-in at BUD was reasonably quick because American had 4 or 5 counter positions open for this one flight at least two and a half hours in advance. In short, American did a good job.

"Constant delays"
Bob Laute (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | Flew American Airlines from Chicago to Philadelphia. Constant delays with this airline all the time. Left O'Hare International 45 minutes late and arrived in Philadelphia 10 minutes late. I thought that was pretty good considering. I see 1 plane parked at terminal A and had been sitting on the tarmac for 33 minutes waiting to pull in. Captain just came on and apologized for the delay and informed us operations had no idea when we will be able to pull into one of the 25 gates that are open.

"a complete disappointment"
Kurt Miller (United States)
Not Verified | Dallas to Baton Rouge. It takes a lot for me to go through the effort of placing a review, but American Airlines has worked hard for this one. I travel regularly from Baton Rouge to Dallas Fort Worth and they are consistently late. Not only are they late they will push a scheduled flight so many times at the last minute it eliminates the option of catching an earlier flight that somehow seems to take off before you thought it was scheduled to depart after your original time. Only a true professional at screwing things up to pull this off. I do this for work because it's the most convenient geographical departure and arrival cities, other than that American Airlines is a complete disappointment.

"constantly change the time"
Mimi Groom (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | We fly first class mostly between Delta and American Airlines. We are seated right now in American Airlines from SFO to CLT. Our original flight was San Francisco to Dallas with final destination being Ft Myers. Seats generally more comfortable than Delta but no TV, no 110 outlets in our AA flight which means we can’t even watch a movie on our computer for nearly five hour flight. Really? The most annoying thing about American Airlines is they constantly change the time and sometimes the route of the trips. Recently booked RSW to Paris for upcoming September trip and they have already changed the time making it very inconvenient. Our last trip from Vail to RSW had changed with 3 hours of layover in Dallas from 1 hour. I tried to change the time and they said because I had used our miles for that trip, they actually wanted to charge a fee for us to go to economy class (first class was full but we didn’t want all the layover). Again really?

"has the worst customer service"
Aaron Warren (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | After waiting for 2.5 hours for my flight at my gate D34 flight AA1606 American Airlines failed to notify me of a gate change. No other flights could get me to work on time so I have lost money because they couldn't get me to my destination on time. They also refused to give me accommodation or even at the very least prioritize my boarding so I can get off the plane as soon as possible to make it to work as early as possible. Somehow they managed to blame me for not getting an alert via email, on their app, etc.. American Airlines has the worst customer service that I've ever experienced and will never fly with them again. It's sad to say but even Spirit is better in every way.

"Absolutely appalling"
Tennille Coverly-Pons (Cayman Islands)
✅ Trip Verified | Flew American Airlines from San Francisco to Grand Cayman via Miami. Worst experience ever! Second time in a row. Thought I would give the benefit of the doubt. Never again! Last flight 3 hours delayed and no food or beverages extra. Absolutely appalling. Will never fly AA again. Will gladly get a more expensive flight

"Purser continued to be abusive"
Jeremy Muller (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | Los Angeles to London. I am an Executive Platinum (Emerald) member with American Airlines since 1999, and I have flown 1.5m miles with American Airlines. During my flight from Los Angeles to London Heathrow on Jun 5 (Flight AA108) I requested a cabin crew member to have a family member who was seated in 21A to be relocated to a vacant seat close to me. The cabin crew member was very accommodating and personally relocated my family member, Midway through the flight. The purser of the flight approached me an accused me of having the family member illegally take an unoccupied seat. I tried to explain that I requested the relocation with a cabin crew member and she obliged. The Purser continued to be abusive. I advised her that I will be addressing through all means possible.
