She did an exceptional job walking us through the process and in return decreasing our anxiety. We appreciate her caring and professional attitude which ensured we received the best experience possible. on a scale of 1-10, she is a 20!

"Shame on Delta"

Not Verified | Delta is not active duty military friendly. They did not help in any way when my sons orders got changed. I was absolutely appalled and am so glad there are many other airlines we can use found forward because no one in my family will ever fly with them again. I have 2 boys in the military and no airline has treated active duty military like Delta. Even Spirit Airlines was hassle free with last minute flight changes due to my son's orders being changed in the past. American Airlines, Southwest, Allegiant have all been super accommodating in making exceptions for active duty military. Shame on Delta for not supporting the military.

"Delta isn’t worth it"

✅ Trip Verified | Delta is an incompetent airline through and through. From rude staff to airplanes constantly breaking, to the most disgusting terminal in every airport, Delta isn’t worth it. Don’t fly Delta unless you can burn 8+ hours on delays and enjoy being laughed at by the customer service personnel who are supposed to help you.

"Expected so much more from Delta"

✅ Trip Verified | Plane was old and the small outdated screens were right in your face. 2 seats had sticky or broken seat back buttons. Very cramped seating. Worst of all, they were only serving snacks water and coffee from Florida to Atlanta to St. Louis. Nothing carbonated at all. This was the first flight of my life with no coke. Will never fly Delta again! Flight attendants were too casual. I did not belt at all and it went unnoticed until I belted in flight. Airplane mode not on also went unnoticed. Expected so much more from Delta.

"they couldn't find pilots"

✅ Trip Verified | My DELTA flight to London was delayed 4 TIMES because they couldn't find pilots. Then we boarded the plane at 12:45am and the pilots could not reach their INTERNAL Delta ground control to take off - the pilot announced this on the airplane as we waited on the plane. At 2am Delta CANCELED the flight and we all had to find hotels and didn't get a flight to late the next day. I didn't even have time to cancel one of my excursions with a 24 hour notice. Getting any sort of refund is a NIGHTMARE.

"Don't trust the airline to update you"

✅ Trip Verified | Don't trust the airline to update you fast enough if your flight is delayed and causes you to miss the next flight. My flight from Portland OR to Washington DC Dulles Airport originally had a layover in Seattle WA. Due to the first flight having a delay due to a light blinking for something that turned out to not be happening and them needing more fuel in order to be able to make the trip safely, I missed my connecting flight in Seattle WA. The flight arrived 5 minutes before the connecting flight was due to depart. I was unable to reach the gate in time, so I got in line for the customer service. I checked my texts, email and the delta app, but nothing showed up as having an alternate route. It took a while to get through the customer service line. When I reached the counter, I was informed that they had automatically booked me on a new flight even though I hadn't received any notification of this change. They printed my new ticket and said the new flight was due to depart in 15 minutes and was at the gate next to them. I walked over to the gate to find out that they had already closed the gate and weren't boarding the plane anymore. Therefore the tickets that customer service had given me were for a flight that had already finished boarding. So, I had to get back in line again. When I talked to the customer service representative, they told me that it was my fault for missing the second flight and because I had a basic ticket they couldn't help me with another flight option. That they could put me on a waiting list for an open seat going in the general direction. They said that I would just have to wait in the airport until a seat became available and they couldn't tell me when that might happen. I couldn't handle this news that I was stranded at the airport and had no idea when I might be getting another flight. I found a place to break down and cry and just before 11am my delta app notified me the info for the alternative flight that I had missed. This made me mad because this was two hours after I had needed it. So I collected myself and went back to customer service counter. The person who helped me didn't treat me like it was my fault for missing both flights and got me new boarding passes. This whole thing could have been avoided if I had gotten my notification about the reroute a lot sooner or if the customer service person had given me a ticket for a flight that hadn't closed there gates then say it wasn't their responsibility for the missed flight. Then on my last flight, the overhead space was a bit harder to reach then other planes and I am 4'11". When I had asked a flight attendant for help because I could reach they attendant told me she wasn't allowed to help me, which didn't bother me. But while I was struggling to pick up my bag high enough, the attendant told me that I was holding people up. A passenger ended up catching my bag as I was about to drop it and helping me the rest of the way.

Not Verified | My daughter and I flew from Savannah to Atlanta on flight 2516 on 8/28. Our flight was delayed by a 2 hour ground stop in Atlanta that caused us to miss our connection to Hartford on flight 1011. Despite a difficult situation beyond anyone's control, every Delta employee in the Savannah Airport, in the Atlanta airport, and in the air was courteous and professional in helping us and several hundred other stranded travelers get flights rebooked. We were able to get rebooked to flight 2069 for 7:05am the next morning and the airline gave us a complimentary hotel reservation and meal vouchers. I am sure that the airline did the same for several hundred people on this day and their commitment to customer service was refreshing and appreciated. thank you.

"Avoid Delta at all costs"

✅ Trip Verified | What is the worst US airline? I vote for Delta Air Lines! I took 3 domestic flights with them in the space of 2 weeks in July and they were all problematic. The first was over an hour late, the second 4 hours late, and the third landed in the wrong airport at midnight! I complained to Delta, of course. It took them a month to reply and offer me a laughable $25 voucher for future travel because it was due to factors outside of their control. I can believe that for one flight, but 3 out of 3 indicates a pattern of incompetence. Avoid Delta at all costs!

"I will never use Delta again"

Not Verified | I will never use Delta again. Our flight was delayed an hour. We sat on the plane for one hour. They came on the intercom and said "we do not have pilots to fly and you must deplane. Once in the terminal again they came on the speaker and said that the flight was canceled due to bad weather (even though we all heard inside the plane that they didn't have pilots. They told us that they would not pay for lodging for us. All passengers including myself saw several planes land and let passengers off ... so if it was weather related planes could land but not take off?
