“Can’t you do better?”
Cindy Wymer (United States)
Not Verified | Our plane left Spokane late, and we missed our connecting flight. We were told to go to the Delta help desk. There has been no one here for forty-five minutes. It is very frustrating! There is a line of people and not one worker trying to help, or get help. Come on Delta! Can’t you do better?

“denial of responsibility”
Lori Levit (United States)
Not Verified | On an international flight with Delta, I was refused my pre-booked window seat and placed in a middle seat between 2 obese males. My seat was given to a man to fly comfortably and I was made to fly in his seat, without leg or armroom. A few hours into the flight I became severely overheated, began sweating profusely, and felt nauseated. I got up to use the restroom and ended up passing out cold in the middle aisle. I was only able to get safely up after 20 minutes. I was placed in the same seat without assistance to the restroom. I am a 60 year old women, it was a 9-hour flight, and I myself am not small. In the subsequent fall, I injured myself, requiring nearly 3 months to recover. Delta refused any responsibility or compensation. They would not even refund the cost of the flight. Their representatives first denied I was even on the plane despite a boarding pass and over 300 witnesses. They have also stated they did not discriminate because they had checked and other women were not denied their window seats on that flight. They stated they are able to move you from your seat for any reason, even if it results in injury to the passenger. They stated if I had purchased a first-class ticket perhaps this would not have occurred. Trying to deal with the second-largest airline in the world is impossible. They do not follow international regulations designed to protect passengers and they set up an impossible system when seeking compensation. shifting blame to their partnering airlines, despite being on a Delta flight, with Delta employees. I have had to speak with over 12 employees, supervisors, and others and received only stonewalling, the denial of responsibility, and a lack of any respect, follow-up or concern.

"a great experience on Delta"
Amanda McCurdy (United States)
Not Verified | We had a great experience on Delta. We had a flight diversion due to low visibility. I felt that the pilot made the right call to not land the plane on a dark foggy runway.

"requested a glass of wine"
Robert Grzesik (Canada)
✅ Trip Verified | I simply requested a glass of wine during the in-flight service, and to my astonishment, I was flatly denied, with the crew member condescendingly explaining that wine was a privilege reserved for first-class passengers only. This bewildering policy was apparently due to the 'short-haul flight' rule. This sparked a heated debate, during which I felt an unprecedented level of disrespect as a paying customer. Every other airline I've flown with has offered this basic courtesy, often complimentary. I am disappointed and disheartened by Delta's disregard for passenger satisfaction. Their staff's dismissive attitude left me feeling belittled. Fly with Delta, and prepare to be overlooked and undervalued. I certainly won't be making that mistake again.

"I paid for that flight and felt attacked"
W Norden (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | We had landed in BOS heading for the gate. Plane stops, pilots comes on the intercom sorry for the delay, waiting for another plane to leave the gate. No worries. A young woman and her child get up to use the bathroom, they were seated right in front of me. They were allowed to, no problem. I figured, ok I guess that's acceptable. Get up to use the bathroom myself. The flight attendant aggressively demands I return to my seat immediately. This was not a polite nor friendly tone of voice I was greeted with. Where I take issue, is that even though I was standing two feet away from him, he announced this into the intercom to the whole plane. I asked him if he knew he was scolding me over the intercom and he said yes. I returned to my seat through the humiliating stares and laughs of the full plane. I returned after we were at the gate to use the restroom, and extended him the opportunity to apologize which he did not take. I feel that I have the right to privacy in the event a flight attendant needs to give me instructions, especially when Im standing two feet away from them. I had zero interaction with this young man until that moment and provoked him in no way, but felt he punitively used the intercom against me in that moment for no justifiable reason. I filed a formal complaint with Delta and their very tepid response was essentially "oh sorry about that." I paid for that flight and felt attacked

"really cut back their service offering"
Will Lynch-Slocum (United States)
Not Verified | Delta used to be great, but have really cut back their service offering. Multiple times I've been booted from a window seat in coach and "upgraded" to a middle seat in economy+ for a 5 hour red-eye booked flight where they were unable to reverse it. Ive had =baggage handlers go through my bags, lose my bags, break my luggage, and am currently sitting on the line with customer service for 2 hours still giving them my flight information after being routed to 4 different representatives. I could have spent less time driving across the country. Not much difference between Delta and Southwest these days, so might as well save a few bucks with another airline. Two hours sitting on hold and I decided to use this time to write my first ever review of a business. Side note: the level of DIY "self service" has also become ridiculous.

"A really nice trip"
Peter Pomeranze (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | A really nice trip. As always, the flight attendants can really make the difference. For this five hour trip, the seats were ok, the entertainment offerings were excellent, the food was decent ( especially using today’s lower standards) but the highlight was truly excellent attentive service by Bonnie, the lead flight attendant serving first class (16 seats) pretty much on her own. I’ve taken this flight often and sometimes see a rushed dinner service followed by a disappearing act until hours later. This wonderfully friendly and extremely efficient flight attendant was amazing and made a so so experience quite wonderful. She constantly checked on us leaving us wanting or needing nothing.

"Why would you separate a family with 2 kids?"
J Jimenez (United States)
Not Verified | Family of 4 was split to single seats. To make things worse, we were all assigned middle seats so other "single" passengers did not want to switch. Why would you separate a family with 2 kids? We fly out twice a year for vacations. No longer flying Frontier and Spirit. Adding Delta to that list.

"customer service was bad"
Naomi Wong (United States)
Not Verified | Delta Airlines customer service was bad. Staff members were unhelpful and unprofessional of the delayed flight. Staff was very rude and even laughed at me while asking questions. I asked the questions respectfully and I am baffled for the unprofessionalism. No one knew how to give direct answers on how to fix their mistake on my delayed flight. Rather received a mockery attitude and much uncertain answers. Save your money and go fly elsewhere please.

“they refused to assist me”
Aaron Tuxbury (United States)
Not Verified | I purchased a ticket for a flight on May 23rd. They gave me a ticket for May 24th. When I pointed out that it was their error and that they gave me the incorrect ticket, they refused to assist me. I was forced to purchase a fare adjustment to be placed back on the correct flight that I actually purchased. After several commissions through different channels, they have thus far refused to refund the fraudulent fare adjustment charge with no explanation or apology for their neglect and incompetence.
