Air Mauritius launches new cabin upgrades on Airbus A340 aircraft, with
flat-bed seats in First Class .... as Business class is discontinued in favour
of a Premium Economy style cabin.

Scheduled for deployment on the London and Hong Kong routes from 3
December 2006, Air Mauritius new product is available on the two new-
generation A340-300E: A flat-bed First class with cocoon seats, a new
intermediate Premium Economy cabin with a variety of tailored features
and a greatly enhanced Economy class cabin.
Passengers will have at their disposal AVOD - Audio & Video On Demand -
menu offering of 50 digital-quality, multi-language video options
together with a library of more than 60 CDs with play-list
functionality.

First class goes flat-bed. Laid-out in an 80-inch pitch, the cocoon
seats features state-of-the-art technology and individual comfort with
fingertip control. With two rows of seats, this new Air Mauritius First
class will be the airline's most intimate premium cabin.
The new Air Mauritius product will feature a newly-branded 33-seater
Premium Economy cabin class, Club Mauritius. This new travel class will
offer dedicated check-in counters, a 30 kg baggage allowance, access to
Air Mauritius lounges and an inflight service which will be of a
business-class standard.
