"was difficult to find"

(Hong Kong)

Verified Review | The Skyteam lounge at Hong Kong International Airport was well lighted and clean, and had good of seating, but was difficult to find for a first trip. The food was greasy, bready and of poor quality. I left the lounge and went to Cafe Deco.

"Worst lounge ever visited"

(Saudi Arabia)

Verified Review | Worst lounge ever visited. Poor setup and dreary looking furniture, which is in need of replacing. Very depressing and wanted to leave as soon as I walked in. The 2nd floor is more more like a 1980's bus station. Food selection was poor and limited.

"wide range of meals"

(United Kingdom)

The lounge is well decorated, with a living plant wall. Several sofas and armchairs are available with sockets. The lounge has 2 floors floor, upper floor has the same layout but without alcoholic drinks. The lounge has basic but wide range of hot and cold meals. Wide range of soft drinks and a great self-service bar of alcoholic drinks. Beers wines etc. The lavatory is clean, not sure it has showers. Wi-fi was without connection or speed issues.

"acceptable short haul lounge"

(United Kingdom)

Visited en route to CDG with Air France. Slow lounge entry with staff taking some time to check our credentials (training a colleague). However, the lounge facilities seemed reasonable. Good selection of drinks and food (chicken curry and rice) of good quality. Toilets and baby changing facilities (important to us) were clean and accessible. My son enjoyed the computer games they provided. Walking around the lounge, the upstairs area had sleeping pods which were reasonable. In short, an acceptable short haul lounge.

"SkyTeam should be ashamed"

(United Kingdom)

Terminal 4 Heathrow, have visited the lounge many times in past years. This August 2015 visit has to be the worst. Lunchtime on Aeroflot, and the lounge was not that busy. Staff at Reception struggle to speak English, so one cannot say if they are rude or just have a real language problem. Went to the upper floor lounge section. The floors were dirty, carpets stained and still the original ones, chairs covered in crumbs etc and tables didn't look like staff had wiped them for a week. Food selection at this time was atrocious, and the quality even worse. Decided to check out the mens room, and that was below public lavatory cleanliness standards. SkyTeam should be ashamed with these poor standards, and it's about time that airlines who pay to use this lounge wake up and demand some proper value. I left early and found the gate area outside was actually cleaner and more pleasant.

"the most depressing lounge"

(United Kingdom)

Quite possibly the most depressing lounge I've visited. Flying in Y with Qatar, Sapphire/silver status with BA. Directed to the Skyteam lounge by check-in staff rather than allowed to use Qatar's own lounge. Lounge staff very pleasant, but venue as much ambiance as a morgue. Living wall is nice. Breakfast is woeful. Sparking wine available on request. Being directed to a second-rate third-party lounge devalues the benefits of retaining status with Oneworld.

"food of good quality"

(United Kingdom)

Nice lounge on two floors. Plenty of seating when we arrived at midday. Food of good quality but limited range. Only two hot choices, but these were of high quality. Good range of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages on offer. Chairs looked worn and need upgrading. Perhaps white leather may not be such a good idea. Good views over the apron and one runway. Efficient and unobtrusive staff.

"clean and efficient"

(United Kingdom)

A matter-of-fact welcome at the lounge reception. The two-level lounge itself was reasonably empty at around 7.30am. There was a good breakfast buffet - hot breakfast items, sliced fresh fruit, good coffee and fruit juices, pastries and cereals. I cannot report on the drinks section as it was far too early! There are quiet areas and sofas and armchairs alongside the dining areas. The staff kept the food areas full and in good condition. After reading negative views about this lounge, I found it placid, clean and efficient. Wifi is free and requires no password. My only nag is that I wanted to brush my teeth and there were no toothbrush/paste supplies available. The spa staff told me to go to the washrooms and there were none.

"one of the poorest"

(United Kingdom)

I have used lounges all over the world and I have to say the Sky Team Lounge at Heathrow's T4 is one of the poorest I've experienced. I expected the lounge to reflect the premium status Sky Team pace on their Heathrow hub but sadly there is nothing special about the lounge and it pales in comparison to BA's T5 set up and all other major carrier lounges at Heathrow. Example; both floors are set up with a station for making Bloody Mary's, all the ingredients carefully presented together only they don't serve Tomato juice! Crazy. I won't use this facility again.

"pretty basic business lounge"

(United Kingdom)

This is a pretty basic business lounge and would put me off traveling business class from T4 again. The British Airways lounges in T5 are much better. Food - limited choice of pretty basic stuff. I waited 2 hours before any cakes were put out. The staff really do not care. Not interested or even able to pretend they are interested! Insufficient power outlets so spent a good time walking around trying to find somewhere to charge my laptop. Showers are good. Hot water nice cubicles. WiFi works well and sufficiently fast.
