"poorly equipped lounge"

(Canada)

Trip Verified | SATS Premier Lounge located in Changi Airport Terminal-3 can best be described as a low grade, badly arranged, poorly equipped lounge offering mediocre food of low quality with little or no Indian vegetarian options. The "Check In" PIC was totally unprofessional & though we were 3 adults & a 16 month old Infant, she scanned the Dragon Pass that we had & charged for an infant even though infants under 2 yrs of age are free! (I believe this is incorrect since we have availed lounges all over the world (travelling after Covid) & never had an issue with an infant). The layout was cramped, badly arranged with mostly seats facing each other ,giving no privacy except staring into the opposite person's face. Tables & Seating for families were few & difficult to secure. The food was awful! Apart from a "veg pasta dish", there were no other Veg offerings which is shocking, since Singapore has a large Indian Population & most Indians are Vegetarian. A number of food containers were empty & had no food in them (at 12 Noon). There was hardly any hot Indian Veg dishes available. There was some bread slices but NO butter. Salad was a mishmash of tomatoes, cucumber, onions etc. Even Salt packets were missing. Apart from Yoghurt cups, there was no other Dessert. Some Hard Drinks, Liquor & Soft drinks were available, which we did not avail. The Staff were most unfriendly, communicated little. Even the " massage chairs" were mostly inoperational. Out of the two toilets, one was bad. Overall view is that this lounge is of pedestrian quality and it is shocking how badly this SATS Premier Lounge is operated. This lounge should be avoided by those passengers who are looking for a decent meal, quiet ambience & a relaxing environment.

"a drop in standards"

(Singapore)

Not Verified | This used to be my favourite airport lounge at Singapore Changi Airport. But during my last few visits (the latest was on 15 Jun 2019), I begin to sense a drop in standards. Food - Very few choices these days. And apart from the laksa, the rest are mainly vegetarian Indian food. So if you are not into spicy hot food, or not a vegetarian, I would suggest to skip this lounge and try somewhere else. Similarly, the choices of drinks have reduced tremendously over the last 1 year. In place of can Cokes & Sprites, now you have to serve from a machine, but on one occasion the fizzy gas is lacking (imagine non-fizzy Coke?), and on another occasion, the sugar is lacking. Would really hope SATS Premier Lounge would stop any cost-cutting measures and beef up its food and drinks standards to the past. Also noted the serving staff were tired and lacking. Hope, they spruce up the lively and joyous mood that used to fill up the lounge.

"Food selection is decent"

(Singapore)

Trip Verified | You can either enter the lounge through your memberships (e.g. LoungeKey or Dragonpass in my case). Otherwise, you can also pay for per entry. Food selection at this particular lounge is decent. Beer and wine are served. Newspapers and magazines are also provided for your pleasure. Showers are fairly decent and spacious.

"lounge has decent features"

(Singapore)

Trip Verified | I was travelling with Jetstar Asia from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City and I decided to pay for a lounge visit using my lounge membership. SATS Premier Lounge is located at Level 3. The lounge has decent features like snacks (cereals and sandwiches), fruits, and other beverages. Lounge was fairly empty when I went there in the morning. One feature that ought to be noted was the existence of massage chairs for our use. Overall, the features are pretty good for its price. It lived up to my expectations.

"staff were happy and smiling"

(Australia)

Used my Diners Club to enter and I was relieved to do so. It is head and shoulders above the neighbouring Krisflyer Gold Lounge that I was entitled to use on this flight. Not just because it has toilets and showers that the other lounge lacks but overall it is not as busy, feels more spacious and better laid out. The buffet area is larger with an island servery and not just lined up along a wall. Food and beverage options were all self-served with a Asian and Western choices which was ample for my needs. The seating area has power sockets and USB ports beside every chair. The toilet and shower area was immaculately clean and large enough cubicles to enter with your carry-on and shopping. The high backed chairs were really comfortable along the edge of the lounge overlooking public area. The staff were happy and smiling, also quite chatty when talking to them which made the stay feel quite relaxed. My plates were whisked away very promptly, before I had even noticed at times. The WiFi was simple and easy to connect to with no passwords required and speeds were adequate for the simple browsing I was doing.

"very good lounge"

(Sweden)

This was my second time in Singapore Changi Airport SATS Premium lounge. I used my Priority Pass membership card to access the lounge since I wasn't flying in business. Lounge is clean and spacious. Food they serve is Indian and Chinese and quite good. You can also get alcohol (beer, 2 types of red and white wine and spirits). Compared to other Changi lounges this was better then most of them and I would recommend using this. They have also showers, magazines and computers. Wifi is better in the lounge than Changi free wifi. All in all very good lounge.

"well worth the cost"

(Australia)

We used Scoot in Style with our booking. That allowed us entry to the SATS Lounge in Changi Terminal 2. It is shown on the barcode of your boarding pass and that is scanned at entry. The lounge is quite big and well worth the cost. Plenty of drinks, alcoholic (whiskey, wine, gin, vodka) and soft. The coffee is delicious.. Everything is self serve, so you can eat as much as you like. Best was the beef stew, nice and tender. Staff were cleaning all the time and topping things up. For a 2 -3 hour stop, you could easily recoup value for the cost.
