The Qatar Airways lounge at Heathrow Terminal 4 is the best in the business - light and airy, plenty of comfortable seating, excellent cloakrooms and a good choice of food (you can either help yourself to salads etc. or order from the menu). The lounge at Doha's new airport is huge. It has an area at the back with long tables where you can get toasted sandwiches and drinks - not an oasis of calm but useful if you're in transit.

A large surface under a very high ceiling, huge volume, though you find lots of places quiet and giving some kind of privacy; different style of chairs, some are more comfortable than others. Restaurant upstairs either buffet or a la carte menu has a large array of choice and there is also another downstairs were you can order sandwich and snacks of your choice. Showers are comfortable and quite a large number, so I never had to wait. General atmosphere and decor are nice, as all building and decoration materials are sober, mainly wood, stone and metal. Excellent wifi connection and sockets everywhere to charge your phones. I had an 8 hour and a 4 hour lay over in this lounge and I found it almost the perfect place. I say "almost" because when you arrive from transfer level, a bit sleepy after a long flight you may easily miss the sign showing the direction to the lounge (whose escalator is just close by). Also. there is a very large waterpool with a bubble effect and if you sit nearby you may get quickly bored by the ceaseless pop of air bubbles out of the water, so I recommend to sit in another part of the lounge!

The handling agent "Escape" Business Class lounge that Qatar Airways use at Manchester airport is horrible - the worst I have ever been in. Not only is it outdated with uncomfortable furnishings, the food is limited - dry sandwiches. There are no staff to help you. No bottled water. Very limited beverages to choose from. Horrible white wine. And don't get me started on the toilets, they're back down the dingy corridor you have to walk to get to the lounge and are general public (and they were dirty and untidy)! This is meant to be a business class lounge.

This Qatar Airways Al Mourjan lounge by far is the best one I've ever had. When you get in, you're immediately greeted by very informative staff to an oasis. There are two great places to eat, a place for refreshments in the middle, showers, and everything you want in a lounge maybe except for a bed. The food, service, atmosphere, and everything else was great. If I could have this lounge for all my transit stops, I would.

The staff at the lounge Qatar Airways uses at MNL Airport was very attentive and kind, but the lounge itself was just so-so. If you have a guest with you or if you don't have access yourself, the entrance is just $20 which I think is quite reasonable if you just want a quiet place to stay, especially if you arrived a few hours early. Don't expect too much though beyond the minimum requirements of a business class lounge. The restrooms are in a different nearby lounge as well unfortunately. Overall, I was satisfied given my initial disappointment with the airport itself.

Qatar Airways Al Mourjan business class lounge at Hamad International Airport. Fabulous from beginning to end, an oasis of freshness. A good staff attitude and good food. Excellent refreshments and easy access. I loved it.

Qatar Airways has 3 or 4 lounges at the new Hamad airport. When I was here last year the airport had only been open 3 days. This trip, the airport looked a lot different! Everything was finished and occupied. The lounges are amazing. Being a Business Class passenger you have access to 2 lounges. The lounge is huge, I wish I had more time at the airport to enjoy it! It is two levels. You can find snacks downstairs, and upstairs full-on meals. The food is good, lots of selections, and lots of it if you wish. The customer service is fantastic. This airline does a fantastic job. You will enjoy the lounges at Hamad. They have prayer rooms, luggage storage, toilets, showers, and quiet rooms. Areas for working with your computer, the lounge has it all.

Qatar Airways does not have their own lounge at Madrid Barajas Airport so you use the VIP lounge which is kind of a general lounge for many other airlines. Very nice lounge. When I first got there, I was only 1 of a few people. 1 hour later it was busier. They have two sections so there is plenty of room to spread out. Free wifi, luggage storage, toilets and showers. There is a sleeping room but ironically right opposite the open doorway they have a TV facing the sitting area which had the volume up pretty loud. No one was watching it, too bad they had it on so loud. They have lots of food choices both hot and cold, and bring out fresh food frequently. I filled myself up with snacks and lunch so wasn't hungry for the flight. Plenty of seating. They have TV's scattered throughout if you want to watch TV, newspapers and magazines available to read as well. Clean, the staff was very nice.

Qatar Airways is a really brilliant airline, but their choice of the Bidvest lounge is surprising. Poorly trained staff, dirty lavatories, dreary dark decorations. Slow and inadequate wifi. The food in short supply, poorly presented and of variable quality.

Great lounge, quiet and lots of friendly helpful staff. Good selection of food in various sections of the lounge. Good shower facilities although I had to wait for about 30 minutes for it to be available.
