"toilets a disgrace"
Glenn Barnes (Malaysia)
A huge lounge with plenty of seating and good views of the tarmac if that's your thing. Food is pretty poor to be honest, toilets a disgrace no other way to describe them. Bar stocks most drinks but measures a little small. If your flight goes from the C gates at KLIA I would wait before you get the train and use the non satellite Malaysia Airlines lounge before you get the train. Its no better for food or drink, but it seems well maintained and clean. I cannot understand why Malaysian Airlines have allowed this Golden Lounge to deteriorate to the extent they have.

"lets Malaysian Airlines down"
Paul Tapley (Australia)
Still no hot water in this Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge, which is not up to expected standards for a Business Class lounge. Arrived about 9pm and was looking forward to a shower before my next flight. It was not to be. Toilets are also less than desirable and were dirty. Food is only average and lacks a good selection. The whole place needs a good upgrade. This contrasts with the service and food selection on board the planes and really lets Malaysian Airlines down.

"it just gets worse"
Brett Moseley (Australia)
A terrible Malaysia Airlines lounge that I have used quite a few times over the past 5 years and it just gets worse. No hot water in showers. Sign "under maintenance" and no hot water 5 weeks ago and same today. Asked the shower attendant about the situation and was just laughed at. One coffee machine for a lounge this big! Shocking food selections. Seriously bad grog selections. Staff are completely disinterested. More interested in chatting with each other. Toilets dirty or closed. One toilet I know has been closed for a year. Seats are okay. It's a reason to avoid Malaysia airlines and Kuala Lumpur for transit.

"Malaysia Airlines trying to save money"
W Forbes (Australia)
Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge at KLIA has some comfy seats, not miles from main gates, the previous wifi issues appear better as I had no significant issues. However, it seems everyone and is allowed in and So noisy. I think it must be frequent flyer and business class. There were about 15 kids running around screaming. The food is horrendous. Only thing I'd consider is the bread rolls and jam, the beer/wine selection terrible and not self service - fairly sure there was one beer and one of each colour of wine. Dirty and poorly functioning showers and toilets I appreciate Malaysia Airlines are trying to save some money. A fact I sorely noted in my demotion from an A380 to Boeing 777 because they have sold most of them. Have a FF lounge that all your regulars can use, but maybe a separate nicer one for first and business class passengers. The only reason I would recommend Malaysia Airlines is if you are just transiting briefly through KL, then you may better Oneworld lounges elsewhere while getting quite good prices on Malaysia Airlines.

"very poor maintenance everywhere"
George Calledaway (Switzerland)
Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge at KLIA. Ladies loo not working. Men's showers working but cold water only. Very poor maintenance everywhere. Was promised that a supervisor would address the problems, but never met the supervisor, so not the best welcome to "wonderful Malaysia".

"the lounge itself is nothing special"
R Jan van Pelt (Malaysia)
Malaysia Airlines use the Air France Salon Première lounge at Charles De Gaulle Airport, Terminal 1. The lounge itself is nothing special with very limited selection of food and drinks and no toilets (have to go outside), but coffee and croissants/pain au Chocolat for breakfast are pretty decent. What's more important is that when you are travelling on a MAS flight as oneworld Sapphire Card holder MAS tries to send you to the dreadful ICare lounge. I was there for one minute and felt like cattle in a market. Literally no seats available and an extremely small space to manoeuvre. But oneworld Sapphire can also enter La Première and that would give you at least a more humane experience.

"I cannot recommend Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge"
Colin Steven (Australia)
Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge at KLIA. Oh what a difference a few years makes. On visiting this lounge in 2012 I thought it was one of the best I had been through, not this time. Tired, lights not working, food selection nothing like it used to be. Limited selection of drinks. Messy and unclean. Rest rooms that were filthy, no hand dryer that worked, and no paper towels. Lots of staff doing very little - well doing nothing. Lots of seating and that is one of the few positives, other than decent wi-fi. I have been a champion for Malaysia Airlines for a number of years, and I can see there is a whole world of challenges for the new CEO. This time around I cannot recommend using the Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge in the International Satellite Building. I've used the Priority "paid" lounge and that was 100 times better than the Golden Wing Lounge, which is sad to say.

"there are no dedicated bathroom facilities"

Thought this Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge was below par because there are no dedicated bathroom facilities. The guest relations person was very helpful but it is not all about that is it!

"overall a disappointing experience"

Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge at KLIA is a shocker! Confusing and overall a general lack of customer service. From the disinterested staff on the reception desk to the very poor washroom facilities. Food choices limited and overall a disappointing experience!

"one of the worst Oneworld lounges"
Shane Walker (Singapore)
I recently travelled with Malaysia Airlines to and from Paris and so had the misfortune of using the Malaysia Airlines "Icare" Business Class Lounge (OneWorld) in CDG terminal. What a dump! Very small with old worn out couches. No Television or newspapers disgusting food and coffee no departure information screen and staff who are friendly but unable to know how to mix a simple drink. There are also no showers or change rooms and the toilets are outside of the lounge and shared by all of the business lounges. Definitely one of the worst Oneworld lounges I have used anywhere. But it does match with the rest of CDG airport which is also poorly designed badly maintained and very user unfriendly.
