"these lounges are very good"

(Australia)

Trip Verified | Divided into several lounges, according to whether you're flying Latam or another codeshare carrier, these lounges are very good. The Latam customer lounge (Premium) is bigger and better but all have plenty of seating, good food choices which are kept refreshed regularly, good drink choices and fast free wi-fi. They have beds (reserve on arrival) and showers. The only negative is that there is no view or windows these days.

"look to me that it was new"

(Mexico)

Trip Verified | It look to me that it was new. Big lounge, with a lot of space, cosy, adequate temperature, quiet. I visited in the morning at breakfast time. There was fresh orange juice, all types of coffee, two types of hot dishes, and a variety of ham and cheese, cereals, dairies. High speed internet, plenty of staff attending guests. The quality of the food was average.

"lounge is very disappointing"

(Australia)

Not Verified | Their lounge is very disappointing. Firstly, it is hidden: there are no signs for it, not even a tiny one at the lifts you have to use to get up to it. The staff are rude and tend to ignore you. The bathrooms are shabby, in need of maintenance and not very clean. The hot water pressure is good, so you can have a good shower, except that the drains are faulty so the water builds up around your feet. The seating is getting rather grubby. The food is appalling. No hot meals, nothing more than preprepared small ham and cheese portions, with or without a small roll. We went out for a hamburger rather than face this. The wine is ok, and there is bottled water. The wifi is extremely patchy- sometimes good, sometimes awful. Certainly not what you’d expect for the Business Class lounge at their main hub.

"Miserable and poor"

(Chile)

Trip Verified | Big and odd lounge. No food, just some lousy sandwiches. No hot food. No drinks, just still and sparkling water. This is a full OneWorld member and it is a shame that they call this VIP Lounge! I have traveled all over the world with this alliance and nothing compares to this. Miserable and poor. When I asked why the lounge is like that, the answer was even non sensed: "Because this is how it is".

"a fantastic lounge"

(Belgium)

Trip Verified | This is a fantastic lounge. Great selection of food and beverages. High comfort with a sleeping area and around 10 fantastic shower facilities. Great crew who are really helpfully. As a economy passenger of LATAM, I have paid my access to this lounge. It is it worth for the money!

"modern, sophisticated feel"

(Australia)

Trip Verified | This review goes beyond the lounge. When you arrive at Santiago airport all check-in counters are based on level 2 (the usual airport layout), however Latem has created within level 3 an exclusive check-in section for all business, premium economy and high level Oneworld Frequent flyer members. When we checked into the newly established direct flight to Melbourne there was no queue and check-in took no more than 2-3 minutes. Directly next to the premium check-in area is a dedicated passport and security point, meaning you are all done within 5 minutes. The lounge connects to the security point or you take a lift down back to level 2 for some duty free retail therapy. The lounge was massive, spreading over 2 levels. Both levels offer the same hospitality. I did like it upstairs more as it provided a much better view across the airport gates and has an entertainment room ideal for parking some kids in front of a movie. There is a lot of choice for seating from cool park style benches to luxuries leather lounge chairs. Wifi works really well and was easy to connect. The lounge has a modern, sophisticated feel and has a unique, edgy design. Food on offer was also quite nice, without going completely over the top. Overall a good selection of food and beverage for you to select from.

"substandard arrangement is deplorable"

(United States)

Verified Review | This LATAM lounge is not a First Class lounge but rather at best a mediocre Business Class/frequent flyer lounge for a dozen or so airlines. We checked in at First Class counter Swiss and were escorted through TSA to the lounge. The escalator area and entry desk aspects look good but are misleading as they lead to an, overcrowded lounge with old and uncomfortable furniture, insufficient lighting and worn/dirty carpets. Considering one gets forced to check in at least two hours before boarding this substandard arrangement is deplorable and accounts for 25% of flight time. Considering that during the subsequent flight one sleeps at least half the time one pays too a high premium for the first class fare. This should be a problem for all the first class passengers of some of the other premium airlines that use the Miami Latam lounge for long haul flights and I wonder why the have not joined to remedy this deplorable situation. Please note however that the food, service and amenities on the subsequent Swiss flight were truly first class as is their lounge in Zürich.

"is bright, airy and quiet"

(United Kingdom)

Verified Review | I have used this LATAM lounge four times on two return flights to South America via GRU. This lounge is surprisingly new, large and very well-designed – they’re obviously spent a lot of money on it. It is split into different areas – one for the bar, one for dining, a TV area, a sleeping room and several others with armchairs and power sockets for working. It is bright, airy and quiet. A Wi-Fi code is presented to you on entry to the lounge and it is a strong signal. The large shower rooms equipped with toiletries, shaving equipment and hair dryers are immaculately kept. The food area has a range of hot dishes and snacks, along with cold dishes and range of rolls and sandwiches. The menu also changes at different points throughout the day, and the staff keep it extremely clean. The self-service bar is also very extensive. In my opinion, it is much better than most of the business lounges in Europe and it looks like LATAM is upping its game in premium travel facilities.
