"a glorified aircraft hangar"

(Australia)

The airport felt like a glorified aircraft hangar. There were very few shops though fortunately there is free wifi if you arrive a little too early (like me). The security check was ok but a bit of a shambles having to take all charging cords out of my bag along with my camera out of its case (though the staff were very careful when they put the camera in one of the trays). This airport is located about 40 minutes from the centre of Warsaw though fortunately there are a number of transport options there.

"rude security staff"

(Ukraine)

Rude security staff. They don't speak English. Continued talking to me in Polish while I was telling them that I don't speak Polish and don't understand. Their attempts to speak in English were extremely rude and basic "stand here", "move back", "don't touch" etc. They should learn words like "sir", "please" and "excuse me". I would never use this airport again.

"small but efficient"

(Poland)

I've been to this airport a couple of times. It is small but efficient. There are a few shops available. The duty free shops are not exactly so, because all of the flight's destinations are inside EU. The staff are friendly and nice. The only problem is the distance from the Warsaw center and the connection is not really convenient especially when it is compared with the other main airport in Warsaw. You can either take the Modlin bus at a variant price to get there or take the train to Modlin and then a one-stop bus ride to the airport.

Warsaw Modlin Airport customer review

(United Kingdom)

Warsaw-Liverpool. A small airport for budget airlines and it shows very limited catering facilities and other services virtually non existent. On the plus side staff were helpful and once through security no problems at all. It will probably improve in the next few years I am not complaining though as my experience was stress free!

Warsaw Modlin Airport customer review

(United Kingdom)

There are two airports in Warsaw Chopin and Modlin. This review refers to Warsaw Modlin. The airport is very small with just 4 gates. The shops and duty free are small and rather basic. However it is still the cheapest airport to fly into Warsaw by. Be warned that unlicensed cab drivers will approach you in arrivals. Ignore them at all costs even if they are pushy. The best way into Warsaw is to take the Modlin Bus a purple coach that costs 33 zloty (just €8) an air conditioned warm coach will take to central Warsaw in a journey lasting about 1 hour. Tickets can be bought online or in arrivals. Apart from the bus the transport to the city is very poor. The airport is not very good but for price alone it is still the best bet.
