Singapore Changi Airport

Like most of the other reviews this airport is excellent. There never seems to be a line at passport control in each direction. While it isn't an architectural masterpiece it is extremely functional and open. I usually don't like doing security at the gate but on the upside you don't have to queue to get into the airport.

The best airport I have visited. The themed gardens spotlessly clean terminals and genuinely friendly staff make this airport one of the best if not the best in the world.

This is probably the best airport in the world in my opinion. It is eye-catching efficient clean and well laid out. Departing is actually a pleasant experience - check-in is prompt and there are lots of options when waiting for a plane which vary from shopping to watching a movie to visiting the various botanical areas (I was in Terminal 3 so visited the Butterfly Garden). The free foot massages were excellent too! Pleased that when walking to a particular Gate for my flight I was not forced to walk through all the duty free shops unlike in Melbourne for example. Arriving at Changi was an equally good experience - baggage came off promptly and very efficiently processed through passport/immigration.

What can I say more that everything simply works. Changi takes the edge off the stress of flying. Quiet airport as there is carpeting everywhere. Well maintained airport food and shopping everywhere great connection to the city center. Am a non smoker but even the smoking rooms are spacious and surprisingly smells good even if filled with passengers desperate for one last smoke before flying.

Absolutely superb. Like a 5-star experience. The security staff are so polite. The idea that they had to 'welcome' you into a separate 'boarding lounge' once you clear your boarding card makes the journey much more relaxed and classy than just being shepherded onto the plane like cattle as at most airports. Everything is first class here.

Singapore Changi Airport is just excellent. A truly world class airport. As soon as you step off the plane into terminal 1 which is the oldest you know you're in Singapore with its cleanliness and efficiency. There were hardly any passengers when I was at immigration but the desks were fully staffed and the immigration officers were so friendly. They offered free mints at the immigration counter. In departures too facilities were top notch and security checks were done quickly and professionally. I thought nothing could beat Hong Kong Airport but Changi is in a league of its own. How I wish other airport authorities around the world would try to copy aspects of Singapore Changi Airport as it heaps shame on so many airports around the world like Beijing Capital and Charles de Gaulle.

The airport is excellent. There are varieties of shops restaurant (especially fast food) and more. I've been to the airport several times now and it never lets me down. The staff were great. I was grateful that some staff could speak many foreign languages like Japanese Indian and Indonesian. Changi airport is an excellent airport and a perfect gateway to South East Asia.

Efficient as ever during my stopovers to and from Australia the only airport I actually look forward to visiting cannot fault it in any way.

Transiting at Changi Airport regularly for my trips to Europe and New Zealand and it never disappoints me! The transportation between terminals on train was convenient and save time. The airport was huge but super clean with a lot of gardens which gave me precious fresh air after long-haul flights. Shopping in the airport was fantastic. I also enjoyed sleeping and watching movies at Changi. My favourite airport!

Flew through this airport 6 times already this year. The service provided is by far the best. I was whizzed away by a buggy twice as I had a short connection between flights and was travelling only in economy class. The facilities provided is top notch. I can watch movies in theatre shop relax with the butterflies and surf the net while waiting for my connecting flight.
