Seville Airport

✅ Trip Verified | Simply awful. Worst organization of baggage drop ever. Slow staff that do not speak English. But the worst part was boarding. As usual Ryanair was late, but they somehow managed to have 2 flights on one gate. People were confused, didn’t know what was right. We came to the gate which was supposed to be for Bergamo but we saw Barcelona? No information via the speaker, total chaos. Ok finally they managed to board the Barcelona flight and then it was our turn. Boarding was naturally late, as the ladies took time inspecting the passengers luggage to check if it complied to Ryanair standards. Children were crying, people were nervous, and again no information or anything. Finally they started the boarding, but, they made us walk through the runways in the rain to the plane? It was not a small walk, puddles on the floor, so we were carrying our luggage. Anyway, worst airport ever!

✅ Trip Verified | Airport is poor around check-in desks but in particular are insufficient the number of seats, and connection betwen departure and arrival zone is not sufficiently reported. Contrarily after security checks the terminal is very good organized

Not Verified | So this is the new terminal apparently, as the airport citybus drives passed the mothballed old one - It is simply horrible. God knows what the old one was like but this is not a nice environment. Dark dingy, not clean and with filthy toilets. Food options are atrocious and very very very low quality. Gate staff are unprofessional and uncouth. Terrible.

✅ Verified Review | Public transport is by bus. Taxi queues are notorious here. Inside, efficient customer service and clean enough as far as I could see. Some parts are more modern than others it appears, and it feels cramped once through security but nothing to complain about with regard to the wait to get through security itself. Lots of eateries (food court, beer keller with the only view in the place, and cafes) and a few shops. It's a small airport with constant announcements about flights which get rather annoying for those of us who prefer a silent airport. The airport has virtually nowhere to charge your appliances except the lounge. And on that note .. Beware: check your lounge access before you travel. There is just one, an AENA lounge to which BA and some other airlines which ought to know better, do not offer access. The lounge itself is pretty grim in any case, and you aren't missing much: no windows, plastic food, reasonable wine and a charming lady valiantly holding back the hoards of irate BA customers. All in all? Not a great advert for a fantastic city which deserves much better.

✅ Verified Review | Food facilities service is extremely poor in range and quality of offer at Seville Airport. A big self service restaurant has been turned into a snacks retail. That's it. Toilets were quite dirty. Boarding was announced to be open and after the documents check, passengers were kept for 15 minutes waiting in the overcrowded airbridge without any air conditioning or assistance until the boarding had been effectively open. Unacceptable .

✅ Verified Review | Seville airport has a very bad food court. No a lot of choice. A lot of chips and junk food. Waiting more than 15 minutes on airbridge waiting to walk to plane. No air conditioning working in a very hot summer day. Very bad for children and elderly people. Taking care of passengers has to be improved.

Our flight into Seville was 90 minutes late and 4 others were delayed too, so it was very crowded. There was totally inadequate availability of seating to cater for all the delayed passengers waiting around. First for check-in / bag drop and then in the departure area beyond security. The seating at the various concessions was fully occupied. The only seating we could find was a wooden child's 'car', while there were a couple of considerable wall lengths crying out for some comfortable benches, as the gates were inaccessible between flight departures. On the day we were there, a lot of the travellers were apparently on a Saga (elderly people's) tour, so they had to do a lot of walking about to (not) find a seat. The food at our choice of restaurant was awful, yet quite expensive. The women's toilets were unusable. Seville is a beautiful city, packed with stunning buildings and views. It's a real shame that the poor quality of the airport let it down so badly.

I had a really bad experience at this airport in July. I was flying to Stansted airport with Ryanair with my family. The problem with the turn around with the incoming flight. We were made to stand outside (41 degree) heat for around 25 mins while the passengers left the plane and we could eventually board. It was a truly horrible experience.

This is a fine smaller airport with many flights departing and arriving daily from all over Spain and Europe. Check in is easy and there is a modest selection of eating establishments. Post-security there is another place to get food and the duty-free and souvenir shops (including gourmet stock) are not bad. Transit to/from center city is easy and frequent the bus runs every 20 minutes (first stop is Santa Justa train station) and costs just 4 euros.

Sevilla is a great airport to travel to and from. Its basic functional and efficient which is all I want from an airport. Food is expensive though so maybe take your own. It is easy to get to the city centre by bus or taxi - there is a fixed fare of 21 euros.
