"All the lines were extremely long"

Unverified | Worst airport I've ever been to. All the lines were extremely long and they gave no priority to connections. They did not care if you missed your flight. Everyone working was extremely rude and disorganized. I honestly can't believe they get away with this. I have no clue how they run an establishment like this. It's quite embarrassing. I would recommend avoiding this airport at all costs.

"How do the staff get away with this"

Verified Review | I will never use this airport again if possible. It took me two and a half hours to get through check-in, passport control and customs. The woman in customs was arrogant, deliberately provocative and insolent in customs, the people in economy check-in deliberately accepted customers with over-weight luggage even though the sign above stated it was for economy passengers. How do the staff get away with this appalling treatment of customers?

"the seating capacity is insufficient"

Unverified | I frequently use Paris CDG airport and I believe that terminals A to D are too small for the number of passengers. Terminals E and F are much better, but the seating capacity is insufficient. So, queuing for check in is long, as is the customs queue. Number of electrical plugs increases every year but some of them are out of service. For arrival: customs officers are not enough numerous and queuing is very long.

"unfriendly officers for hundreds of pax"

Verified Review | Paris CDG is confirmed to be one of the worst (if not the worst) airport in the world. Lets talk arrivals only, in Terminal 2E which is supposed to be the most modern. Amongst other issues: More than 1h queue at immigration, 2 to 4 unfriendly officers for hundreds of pax, and even for French citizens. Delivery of baggages more than 45min after landing (although screens wrongly mention "delivery in progress"). Toilets which are so dirty and smelly, you can hardly use them. Staff between unfriendly and rude, with very often no clue of what they should do. It was so funny to see "delivery in progress" on the screen 15 minutes before the first baggage actually appeared. More could be said, but lets be nice!

"Utter incompetence and rudeness"

Unverified | Utter incompetence and rudeness. We arrived having already checked in online to find out the flight was delayed but the check in desk had no clue why and provided no explanation. 2hrs delayed. We then experienced a rude security staff that insisted we walk the slalom even though there was no one queuing. Then when the flight was ready to board the announcement was made that our gate was open quickly followed by a garbled announcement stating it was a final call. My husband was in the middle of the nature break. When I asked the attendant why the final call was made straight away and she shrugged her shoulders and giggled! Not a happy customer and do not recommend this airport.

"Not a good experience"

Verified Review | Not a good experience. Appalling and expensive food at Frenchy's Food. Avoid this place at all costs. Despite a nice looking menu they only had horrible salad and burgers. Surely they are not allowed to advertise food that isn't available. In France you expect quality cuisine - I paid Euro46 for an awful salad, boring burger and warm beer. At the departure gate it's shocking to see the icon of the worst form of fast food - a McDonald's. Service poor with scruffy unprofessional waiting staff. Prior to that experienced a very Long check in queue. Once through passport control it was stuffy and too warm. As a main airport for France it's a National disgrace.

"what a delight"

Verified Review | Well what a delight it was to be met at the airport by a mini bus in order to get through the airport to our connecting flight. This was because my husband is visually impaired. After the struggle to make it happen we only say how grateful we are to the team who took us through the airport to our next departure gate. Our persistence paid off, but we will be eternally grateful for the kindness shown to us. It has restored our faith in people.

"Airport not practical"

Verified Review | Airport not practical. Often traffic at the entrance. Lines are very long for tax refunds, for security and boarder check (more than an hour sometimes). Staff are not welcoming, and there are no courtesy lines for pregnant women, young children or the elderly. This airport is furthermore not equipped with nice restaurants and terminals are far appart and uncomfortable to spend a long time in. For a city like Paris, it is a shame to welcome so many tourists with such an airport. They should take examples from Asian or Middle East airports.

"airport was a terrible experience"

Verified Review | Arrived 3 hours early for flight to Southampton. Because of long lines missed flight and was redirected through Birmingham, missing my plans in Southampton. My luggage was sent elsewhere, even though I was assured it was taken care of, and we spent over 2 days with no luggage. Horrible experience for my daughters graduation gift and Charles de Gaulle airport was a terrible experience. No clear lines for immigration just a free for all with no clear lines. I actually watched a fight between 2 passengers in line and because we were courteous and did not push everyone out of the way we missed our flight and travel plans, derailed.

"why won't someone help us"

Verified Review | We are travelling through Paris CDG on 12th August 2017. In trying to get a 'golf buggy' organised to help transfer my visually impaired husband from an arrival to a departure is worse than pulling teeth. Air France say it is the responsibility of the airport, and the airport say it is the responsibility of Air France. We just keep getting batted from one to the other. We have one hour to make this connection - not our decision. It is the times we were given when the flights were booked. All they can offer is a wheelchair. This is the worse thing to offer to a visually impaired person. People need to understand the difficulties faced by visually impaired people. I suggest that they do some training in order to understand their needs. Why won't someone just help us out? I just hope that people don't get in the way as we try to reach our connecting flight. We experienced the same two years ago at Frankfurt Airport as the first flight arrived late and we struggled to get through customs in time for our connecting flight. Mind you the compensation they paid out came in useful! But it shouldn't be necessary if someone would just give us some basic help.
