Hamad Doha Airport

✅ Trip Verified | A disappointing experience. Only one lounge open and that was full for the next two hours. No voucher system or compensation. Some Restaurants also full. Toilets not very clean WiFi not working (I’ve used it several times before on previous visits).

Not Verified | I happened to go through Hamad International airport for transit twice. The flights were delayed, ended up doing a layover for 6-7 hours. This is the last time I use Hamad airport. Though it is luxurious, this does not outweigh poor customer service performance.

✅ Trip Verified | The Hamad International Airport has all the amenities of a world-class airport. The Duty-Free shops are aplenty and very enticing. This is a great place to shop for jewelries.

✅ Trip Verified | Very clean airport, and it's really huge. I had to walk a lot to my gate. There used to be water refueling stations here and there, but they are closed due to COVID. So I had to buy water bottles frequently during my lengthy stay. The cool thing about this airport is that it has quiet rooms for families and individuals to sleep in, free of cost. It also provides a designated kids zone and prayer zone.

✅ Trip Verified | Great airport but it is strange that Information Screens for transit did not have the gate information available. Passengers have to wait until the gate information is provided. Passengers with flight from Doha to Chicago had to wait beyond the x-ray area since the chairs were not enough at the gate.

✅ Trip Verified | I get that it is a impressive airport. That it was a clean place to be. That they had lots of fancy stores selling things at same prices as in the high street. But I was irked that they threw away the bottle of water I had with me. Leaving me with nothing to drink for the 3 hours transit I had since they sealed off all the water fountains due to 'covid'. Forcing you to spend money at eye-watering prices in duty free for even a small can of water. $6 for a bottle of water. What a rip off. How can you profit from something as basic as water. Show consideration for people and at least provide water dispensers around the terminal.

Not Verified | Great airport. Nice ambience. Spacious terminal and variety of shops. Hygienic. Security near immigration was very rude. Should improve on mannerism. Also immigration staff needs to be more professional. Other than that, very good airport.

✅ Trip Verified | It's a very great airport, the security was smooth. During the off-peak time, they allowed us to use the first/business class security check zone to reduce queue time (since they have numerous scanner). The signboards are clear and easy to follow. During March, the we are facing the pandemic of COVID-19, they provide us with a lot of hand sanitizers which I find it very useful. Another thing to consider is the boarding experience is not that good for me because the aircraft was located very far from the boarding gate making us ride the shuttle bus. However, they didn't consider the social distancing and just let us be fully packed in the shuttle bus, it's quite scary actually. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience transiting at this airport.
