✅ Trip Verified | Worst departure immigration experience encountered. Everyone was pushing and squeezing each other to get to the immigration counters after the downward escalator. There wasn’t a single ground staff facilitating at the immigration queue and everyone was just cutting queues as many were about to miss their flight. It was a commotion and almost like a human stampede. You can even see many distraught passengers. The wonderful experience in Bangkok has been ruined at the airport.

Not Verified | The worst departure at BKK airport departure ever due to immigration understaffing. We cleared security fairly quickly that’s where the queue started all the way to immigration. They had to stop bag security check for at least 30 minutes after we cleared it. The area at the bottom of the escalator was blocked causing panic to the people using it when they had nowhere to go. I saw only seven customs/immigration offers on duty. I reckon we spent 2 hours on that last leg of the queue. We are regular travelers to Bangkok this is not a onetime occurrence.

Not Verified | Horrible experience. Despite thousands of tourists queuing up for hours, the airport closed one of the halls for security and passport check. In the hall they open they did not open all the counters either, and you could see idled staff in the resting room. The corridor linking the security check and passport check has no air con and is extremely poorly ventilated. There are 2 escalators linking the corridor to passport check and everyone flooded down - extremely dangerous and could easily lead to accidents. The queue is chaotic. Thousands of tourists wanna cut the line to catch flights, but NO STAFF is there to control the queues. There are mini fights a few times between tourists. We waited for 2 hours to get through the checks. Absolute nightmare.

Not Verified | Worst airport I have ever been in. Queues takes so long that every single person I saw when getting through it had to run to catch there plane. Every. Single. Person.

✅ Trip Verified | Long waiting lines also for priority. In the priority lane, only 3 persons were checking the passports while there's room for 8 persons. Not only business class can use the priority. Also people with children, people in wheeler chairs, pregnant women etc. Understandable perhaps but what I don't understand is that economy travelers also uses the priority lane and they are not sent away! This way there's no advantage anymore for business class travelers and it did upset me!

Not Verified | Entering Thailand on my latest holiday was the best experience I have had at any entry Airport anywhere in the world. The speed and efficiency of staff was outstanding. On the other hand departing this Airport at around 10pm-2am anyway is an absolute nightmare and in fact pretty scary with the amount of people trying to get through security. As good as the experience was at arrivals the unorganized chaos of departures was awful. I understand there is a lot of ongoing upgrades happening at Suvarnabhumi and I think they have a wonderful arrivals experience but departures requires a lot of work to make it a better experience for their customers. Love Thailand though.

✅ Trip Verified | Flying from Bangkok to Hong Hong with Cathay Pacific in Premium Economy on a Sunday afternoon. Immigration / Security Lines were enormous. More than one hour to wait at immigration.

Not Verified | Absolutely ridiculously long waiting times. One line after another. You have to wait for hours and hours, we almost missed our flight, but the incompetent staff just didn‘t care. Nobody was working. it was horrible.

✅ Trip Verified | Hundreds of people arriving and 8 people working on passport control. Waiting one hour already and will probably take another hour, not acceptable. Crammed like sardines so ready to catch any cold or flu. Not what you need after an international flight.

✅ Trip Verified | The toilets were always dirty. Much more dirty when comparing to major airports of their surround neighbor country. Allocated too many areas for duty free shops and pushed most of the cafés and restaurants to the edge of the concourses. Free WiFi was allow only 1 hour with slow speed.
