✅ Trip Verified | Chicago to Oklahoma City. We were told that we had to check our carry-on luggage because it wouldn’t fit in the overhead cabin. Once boarded, we saw the limited space and were shocked. The aircraft was very warm, small and uncomfortable. There were no plugs for devices nor were there any screens to view tv/movies. I was blown away with how little space there was, the lack of amenities and how cramped the flight was for the money we paid just to be on the aircraft. How is it we are now spending more and more money these days, yet going through hoops just to fly and getting less? There was little arm or leg room, no WiFi, there was water but no soap in the one restroom available, my armrest would not go up and the compartment holding the magazines was broken. I will think twice before boarding another United aircraft again.

✅ Trip Verified | Dublin to Chicago via Kansas City. I have been a longtime miles plus and explorer member. I booked flights on United for my wife and son from Dublin to Kansas City through the United website using my account. This is one of those code share flights where Aer Lingus carries out the first leg and United, the second. The Aer Lingus flight was delayed and my wife and son missed their connecting flight. When at the United customer desk, they were told that it wasn't their problem. There were no more flights to Kansas City that night and they would not arrange accomodation. Instead, United made a ten year old and his mother sleep in the airport, and I still had to drive three hours to collect them at another airport, unless they wanted to remain in the Chicago airport for another day. I am astounded by the service provided by United. I will never book with them again and will take steps to cancel my explorer credit card with them.

They cancelled our flight and we were forced to stay in Chicago for 2 extra days without any vouchers for food or a hotel. There is not enough staff to address the customers who have paid lots of money for their poor service. Do not fly United Airlines. Ever. Unless you enjoy total chaos, poor service, and anxiety. I will never fly with them again.

✅ Trip Verified | We were shocked at the lack of customer service given to us by the airline attendants going from San Antonio to Denver for a connecting flight to Hawaii and LA to San Antonio coming back. An attendant coming home literally told my husband on our honeymoon we shouldn't of purchased these tickets if we wanted to sit together (making the assumption we are broke because we paid for economy tickets). I also observed the flight attendant turn down a mother and child to sit together. On the flight from San Antonio to Denver we asked to sit together for our honeymoon trip and all staff including the captain stated we could ask around but they would not help us. We ended up sitting separately on both connecting flights. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed in United Airlines punishing economy class fliers by splitting them up. We will not book with them again and will spread the word about their poor unprofessional practices .

✅ Trip Verified | Baltimore to Chicago. Worse customer service I have seen. Paid to have an assigned seat to be next to a companion in a flight and without notification of the airline changed the seat 3 times. When I called to try to rectify the situation the lady on the he phone kept repeating that she was not able to help and that the seats were transferred to the airport. I explained that I needed to be next to this person due to panic attacks and they disregard it and refused to give me a number to call.

"the worst flight experience"

Not Verified | This was the worst flight experience. The flight was delayed twice, due to weather, which is understandable. However, the app did not accurately update flight changes. The gate agents refused to address customer concerns in a timely and accurate manner. Finally, the jet walk was broken when we arrived 2 hours late to LaGuardia. Once again, the staff seemed unconcerned with the fact the a jet if tired, late customers was inconvenienced again by their incompetence. I will never fly United again.
