Not Verified | Nashville to Chicago via Duluth. Always used United because it is usually the cheapest flight. Husband flew home in early July via United (Delayed), flew home end of July (Delayed more than 4 hours) via United, and we are flying again, United, have just been told we have a 24 mins delay, so far. I sense a trend United = Delayed flights every time. We are told it is due to air traffic. Seems like they need some sort of organization. Will be testing other airlines for our future trips.

Not Verified | Seattle to Tampa via San Francisco with United Airlines. Ridiculous. Poor communication from the on-boarding crew which began with a delay - thanks to holding a previous flight to see if any last minute passengers would surface. Then following their late departure our plane, which was not ready, took another half hour (and still waiting) to arrive to the gate. We are now an hour into this delay, the bathrooms and terminal are essentially closing and this over sold flight is waiting with virtually no clue as to what is happening or if we will be leaving. This is subpar service at best.

Not Verified | Salt Lake City to Denver via Columbus. I was delayed out of Salt Lake City for an unknown reason for 2+ hours. Moved me between flights as I was told my new flight would arrive sooner, unfortunately for myself, the other flight arrived sooner and would have made my connection. We sat a hot plane in 90-degree weather for an hour and a half without the option to get off as it was "United Policy". Once I arrived and missed my connection I was rebooked to a flight to be on standby 2 hours later. Was initially 3rd in line when I booked. When boarding started I was bumped to 6th in line and finally when it came time to board I was 9th in line. 6 people on standby boarded the plane and I was not one of them. This airline could careless about the people they are flying and more about the dollar in their pocket. Worst service ever and will never fly again.

✅ Trip Verified | Newark to Boston. My flight got delayed 4 times. Flight UA2323 so we had to pay for an Uber from Boston Ma to over an hour to our house since the person picking us up can’t come that late since he works. I have traveled all day with my pregnant wife and 2 year old and have been treated like garbage by the employees. We greatly appreciate ending our vacation in such a horrible manner.

Not Verified | Seattle to Hayden via Denver. My most recent trip yet again displayed a problem that I have seen in all of my last six flights with this airline. Admittedly, the delay on this trip was short, only fifteen minutes. Small delays happen sometimes. That’s to be expected. The issue that delays are a chronic problem with this particular airline where I’ve had delays as long as four hours. Despite whatever else this airline may have done well, I score it a 1 because it consistently falls down on the one thing that travel specialist has to above all else: move passengers from place to place in a timely manner.

Not Verified | What a nightmare. We arrived at the Airport expecting to fly to Montreal then Houston but they cancelled our flight, no reason given. Then in order to accommodate our schedule they rerouted us through Frankfurt and San Francisco. No upgrade offered even though United Airlines added 7 hours to our travel time. The seats are uncomfortable to boot.

✅ Trip Verified | This is the worst experience I’ve had flying. I normally fly Delta or American Airlines but I thought giving united a try would be good. I was so wrong. From the check in to boarding there has been nothing but issues. First flight was delayed then cancelled so had to get on another flight the next day, technical issues which caused boarding to be 30 mins late and not only that, the only thing the representative could help me with was the customer service number. I would recommend paying the extra $$$ to fly delta. United ruined it.

✅ Trip Verified | We flew business class from London Heathrow to Houston then on to OKC. This has been a miserable experience. To say the staff are rude is an understatement. From checking in at Heathrow to the flight to Houston the staff were rude and careless. My husband was told he didn’t order food for both meals on the flight and he did. Then when they went to get the forgotten food they brought out the wrong thing because that’s all that was left. He was never brought a drink with his food at any point. I ask if there was any snacks because the dinner terrible and was told rudely no snacks except the leftover cookies from dinner. Then she told me to go sit because they were in the middle of a shift change. About 2 hrs later I see literally an entire row eating salty crackers and chips that their attendant brought them! One gentleman attendant was kind in the first class cabin but I can’t remember his name. The woman who worked my husbands side really needs to retire. So we land in Houston and then the plane we are suppose to take home breaks. We are delayed without any estimate or explanation except that the plane is so broken they are retiring it. They are hoping to find us a new plane. They finally have us board the plane they told us was being retired. Then we sit on the plane in Houston heat for 45 mins. No apologies so told to keep waiting in 5 min increments. The attendant was somewhat nice on the Houston flight. The issues were more with the plane and the Check in staff. I’m done spending silly amounts of money with this airline. I’m flying Delta from now on. They at least get better service and on time reviews.

Not Verified | Newark to Anchorage. Due to mechanical problems we had to change planes. Then due to weather we were delayed and had to change gates. Then we finally get on the plane and are the next plane to takeoff and the captain says we have to change crews. Now there are no return gates to go to and we are stuck in the plane. The pilots knew they were out of time but ran out the clock anyway, presumably so they can get their paycheck. There is no consideration for the customer. The service sucks. The captain provided little to no info. I’ve spent $3k for this flight and the experience so far is abysmal.

✅ Trip Verified | I booked a 5.5 hour flight from San Diego to Memphis with a 40 min layover in Denver. The day of I get an alert telling me my flight is delayed. As time progresses more alerts with different take off times. I’m confused. I see an agent because at this point my boarding pass isn’t even the same any more. I was then told they changed my flight. I had to get a seat adjustment after nearly an anxiety attack being assigned an emergency exit seat. WiFi didn’t work! Then it’s a 5 hour layover in Houston so instead of landing in Memphis at my original time of 1916 I arrived at 2312!! Unacceptable. I normally fly Delta but tried saving money using United - never again. Pay the extra couple dollars. Oh and they managed to damage my Vince Camuto luggage to put icing on the cake
