Very pleasant experience flying JFK-SAP-JFK. All flights on time A320's that looked brand- new with ambient lighting smiling and corteous crew. Both flights departed on time and arrived ahead of schedule. Excellent seat pitch on par with JetBlue I believe. Highly recommended.

SCL-BOG via LIM and return. Very easy booking and pay at the internet site I recommend e- check in to avoid the queue at the airport smiling and efficient staff at SCL airport. Nice Airbus but little room for legs good food in both legs very friendly and polite flight attendants. Stop at Lima not too long and departure again on time.

EZE-LIM-SAL-CUN round trip. It was very much like flying domestic Business Class in the US (except this was a 14 hour flight). I was surprised by the plastic glasses and the fact that we got our meal way after the coach cabin was half-served. The food was good staff friendly but disappeared once the meal was served. Seats definitely room for improvement - not comfortable no legrests recline is minimal. Only got an amenity kit at one of the six legs of the trip but it was well equipped. No personal IFE. It is only wise to fly Business Class when you get an outstanding deal (which I did). Overall a decent experience clean modern planes good punctuality record nice staff.

I've flown 10 years in a row every Feb IAD or DCA to SJO - 5 times on TACA. I've found the staff to be friendly & helpful. I speak about 10 words of Spanish and never found that to be a problem. The food as of Feb 2009 was still free as were drinks I wanted. The extra $$$ for a checked bag was only for over 50 lbs - so far no trouble with lost bags. Carry along your own headphones or there is a $5 fee. Also the connect in Salvador is much better than Atlanta or Miami. My only complaint is the seats are a bit snug.

JFK-LIM-JFK via SJO in Economy Class. The aircraft were new clean and on time. The cabin crew were attentive and courteous. Meals drinks and service adequate for the flight duration and fare paid. TACA are a great choice for services from North America to Central and South America. The only comment is to minimize the length and quantity of passenger address announcements given after take-off. They can be distracting and long; especially during late night departures.

I've flown TACA both on Ejecutiva Business and on Economy Class and in both cases it has performed well. My latest trip with them was to JFK in Economy class - bags arrived on time inflight meal was good however the portion was small for a 5 hour flight. The seat was comfortable however a greater pitch would be appreciated.

Business class Lima to Asuncion. Business seats are not bad at all for a 3 hours flight wide and comfortable though a bit hard and of limited recline but good pitch. No clear priority boarding instructions for business class passengers. Food was decent : fresh "causa" (mashed potatoes and stuffing a Peruvian specialty) and vegetable lasagna. Service was fantastic the FA will follow your own speed to serve you and with a great smile.

GYE-SJO-MEX one way. Another faultless and enjoyable trip on TACA. Check in at GYE very friendly I had massive overweight baggage due to moving from Ecuador to Mexico and got charged only 50$ due to FF-Status very professional and customer friendly. Flight to SJO ahead of time friendly service an ok snack box for a 2 hour flight. Seats in Y very comfortable did not feel cramped at all. Transit in SJO quick and easy no stupid security checks or anything like that. Off the plane and on the next. Flight to MEX on A320(like the first leg as well) again a snack pack served with a warm sandwich (Chicken Beef or Veggie and different choices then GYE-SJO) and flight landed 20 minutes ahead of time in MEX. All in all very satisfactory considering that TACA was the cheapest option as well compared to Copa LAN or Avianca. I always look forward on travelling with them. And to mention all flights were full and boarding was handled very quick and efficient by the very professional TACA Staff. I rated the trip 9 out of 10 becasue the food is not exellent is standard but way better then on any U.S. or european Carriers on flights less then 3 hours.

SJO/PTY return. Easy to book flights on their web page. Simple online check in and baggage check at airport front desk. All schedules on time. New aircraft (Embraer 190) no in-flight entertainment and fair food on board (free). Professional staff.
