"service on Swiss is top-notch"

Trip Verified | Zurich to Mumbai. Boarding was on time but Swiss should have done a better job of managing some customers who aren't given to respecting queues, even in the Business Class line. One fellow cut in in front of me and the Swiss agent saw him but did nothing. On-board Business Class service on Swiss is top-notch. The hard product is less than satisfactory. In particular, the flat-bed seat is nowhere close to the best in class. Overall a pleasant flight.

Not Verified | Zurich to Newark. Fantastic, exceeded expectations. Food was great, flight crew attentive. Bumpy flight made better by flight crew. Nonstop food and snacks. Highly recommend.

"try to avoid Swiss Boeing 777"

Trip Verified | Miami to Zurich. This is my first time to fly with Swiss, and I flew with them because I was able to use my Star Alliance Miles. The flight was delayed by about 1 h and 30 min because of the late arrival of the incoming aircraft. The boarding was somewhat chaotic, but the passengers were mostly Germans, so it was self-organized and fast. The staff was attentive and the catering was OK for Economy, the IFE screens worked without problem, the flight was uneventful. The major concern is the space (lack of it). The aircraft configuration is 3x4x3 is really bad! You feel squeezed between the passengers, literally as a sardine in a can. I had a window seat, and this gave me a little bit of space. However, I would be considering flying with Swiss again, but I will try to avoid Swiss Boeing 777 in this configuration. This is simply unacceptable on a long-haul flights.

"delay exceeded 10 hours"

Trip Verified | Newark to Moscow via Zurich / Vienna in August 218. I had a terrible experience with Swiss. Our flights were delayed multiple times – not just at the original point of departure but also the connecting flight as well. Overall, the delay exceeded 10 hours. There were no meals or refreshments offered, when a request for assistance has been raised it was denied at the airport counter. My requests for the issue to be addressed have been left unanswered or answered in an inappropriate manner. My attempts to contact the airline both online and over the phone have not yet received an adequate response.

"It was pleasant flights"

"onboard Swiss service is top notch"

Trip Verified | SFO-ZRH in Business Class. The Swiss ground service at SFO was a disappointment. It looks like Swiss has outsourced much of its ground operation and the lady who served us was dour, incompetent, and unenthusiastic. Flight took off on time. The Business hard product in the new Swiss 777s, while comfortable, is not in the top league. Unless you pay extra for one of the "throne" seats, which nets you extra privacy as well as a good amount of flat surface area on which to spread your personal items. The onboard Swiss service is top notch, as good as the best in its class. Less impressive is the wi-fi plan offered by Swiss with its quota-based charge. In summary, Swiss provides a good, but not spectacular, Business Class product. One nice touch was access to the new United Polaris Lounge at SFO, which is superb in every way. United has truly upped its game here.

"Old outdated fleet"

Trip Verified | Shanghai to Stockholm via Zurich. Avoid. Old outdated fleet, rude and non service minded cabin crew. Certainly not the level of comfort you'd expect flying business class. Two connected fights with the same experience. Stay away.

"shuttled through multiple desks"

Trip Verified | Berlin to Boston via Zurich. We had paid to reserve bulkhead seats for our flights. Due to an equipment change, this was not honored on our first (short) flight. Eventually, we got the seats that we had paid for on our return flight, but only after being shuttled through multiple desks and customer service agents, and providing documentation.

"did not dim the lights"

Trip Verified | Manchester to Zürich. This was a night takeoff and the cabin crew did not dim the lights. Additionally, for takeoff and landing 2 crew checked set belts but ignored the fact that a number of passengers had their seats reclined.

"Bad compensation"

Trip Verified | Flew Swiss from Zurich to Barcelona. Bad compensation for totally overbooked flight. Almost no advantage compared to Vueling or easyJet. There is only little food and the quality is bad. The space is very limited and cooling/heating is not very good.
