Flew Oslo to Bilbao. Flight was delayed but we knew only because the boarding time passed without the gate opening. Plane arrived late change of crew quite happy to see that the pilot at least had some experience because in other budget airlines you can have a 25 year old "captain". Plane was a recent 737-800 in very good condition. Boarding was un-organized with only one employee at the gate but after there were 2 gateways 1 in front and 1 at the back of the plane to speed boarding. Legroom decent crew did the job. In this kind of airlines you have to pay for food and drinks and I do not contest that but I would like to have at least a good tasty sandwich. They managed to recover part of the delay. All in all not a bad experience.

CPH-FCO-CPH. Check-in at Copenhagen very quick you have to pay for extra luggage and I was told that the ticket was valid for return trip as wel which it was not; however the helpful staff at FCO allowed me to bring the luggage on board as hand luggage. Informal and great! On board clean new aircraft (Boeing 737-800) seating space as in flag carriers as SAS staff informal and nice. Everything had to be paid for but the fares are low so OK. Not very large selection of food apart from the usual sandwiches; could be enlarged with cold dishes. Entertainment in line with Austrian. A main attraction on this innovative carrier is free Wifi which worked perfectly on the iPhone but seemingly with problems for Android users. Flights on time. Would book them again - to me the leading low cost European carrier.

LGW-OSL return. Out on new B787 Dreamliner as part of its European short haul prior to going long. Return on B737-800.Very quiet flight on 787 aircraft was full did not seem as spacious as my previous flight on a LOT 787.Return 3 seats in row 1 to myself. Both flights on time crews fine.

Paid for premium seats JFK-Stockholm and told 2 days before flight that plane grounded and replacement had only economy. Replacement plane was equivalent to a retired school bus. Check-in conducted by 3 folks one of whom knew what she was doing. Of course they couldn't even figure out how to configure the lines for check-in so should not have been surprised. Boarding comical - start with back rows then forget rows called and just have a free for all at end. 3 hours late due to the need to retrofit some part of the replacement plane. Entirely a free for all boarding when flying Bergen to Oslo. Return flight to JFK had premium/business with entertainment system not working and food not fit for a dog. And the seat was partially broken (foot rest part). All in all a disaster.

Norwegian Long Haul. OSL-LGW. Flight DY1310. 11th July. 787-800 Dreamliner. Having taken delivery of their first 787 EI-LNA on 30th. June Norwegian offered passengers the chance of shorthaul European 'Dreamliner' flights for the summer before they deploy them to the USA/Far East. I took advantage of the offer and was not disappointed. Checking in very easy at Gardermoen airport with plenty of kiosks. Boarding delayed due we were informed to a problem with the air conditioning. However the fault (human or mechanical?) was quickly solved and we were invited to board earlier than announced. Being a nearly new aircraft everything was in pristine condition except for the two window controls next to me. The 'Smart Glass' refused to dim on one window despite much pressing and only just worked on the other but did not get fully dark. I feel the control pads are not robust enough and were already worn out. Takeoff was as smooth as silk and done in a very short time. The flight was very calm and the usual aircraft roar absent. The touch screen seat-back entertainment was easy to use and had a very good sky map which could be viewed in several different ways: Normal R/L side Top view Cockpit view etc. The menu had films games in-flight purchases and so on. All in all a wonderful two hour flight.

Returned last night from Stockholm to LGW. Plane late but not NA fault. Long lines at passport control. Waiting area - no seats. Boarding chaotic free for all with no priority boarding for children or disabled people (my wife). Made comment to stewards who said it was down to the airport. Seated in seats 2c and 2d. No overhead space left. Requested a G&T - no ice available. Alternative warm beer so no sale. Impression that NA cared little for customers or repeat business. Would urge you not to fly with them.

My husband and I were most impressed. We travelled for the first time to Ibiza and found them to be very reliable efficient and organised. The cabin crew were friendly and helpful and gave a warm welcome on board and a friendly goodbye when we disembarked. We are both tall (I am 5ft 11" and my husband is 6ft 3") and we found the seats comfortable with ample leg room. We enjoyed the inflight snack service and had a delicious tapas box and a full 70 cl bottle of white wine - something which no other airline seem to offer! We used the free wi-fi service too - what a great idea! We would definitely use Norwegian again and have been recommending you to friends and family. We were very satisfied customers!

Excellent self-service check-in at LGW as we had only hand baggage. However when checking in at Barcelona for the return it was like a package holiday check-in with only 2 check-in desks which everyone had to check-in at despite only having hand baggage so we had to queue for an hour! Hand baggage was only weighed at the Barcelona end and pax were being charged if over 10kgs which we weren't. Onboard service the same as all low cost carriers reasonable price. Good legroom. Would travel with them again.

Stockholm ARN to New York JFK. The dreamliner had been replaced by A340. Seats OK but inflight video system out of order. Meal service was a joke. After almost 3 hours we were served a light meal and one glass of wine. No possibility to buy anything else until meal trays had been cleared and bar trolleys where rolled out. By then we were 2 hours from landing in New York! If I have to fly with this airline again I will stock up with own water and food.

Flew Malaga-London Gatwick on 22 May. First time with Norwegian check in process took 1.5 hours so will definitely do online check in on future flights. Return Gatwick Malaga on 29th May with 86 year old lady who had requested assistance. Assistance was OK at Gatwick South (incidentally not as efficient as at Gatwick North) but on approaching the plane realized the girl at check in had allocated seats 29F and E almost at the end of the plane! Not very happy. Food prices are extortionate.
