"a very enjoyable flight"

(United Kingdom)

Gatwick to New York JFK with Norwegian was a very enjoyable flight, lots of leg room, and food pretty decent. Staff professional and courteous. The Android Media was slightly confusing at the beginning of the flight, but generally works well on the flight. Very modern aircraft using this route (Boeing 787). Would recommend this route with this company.

"certainly recommend Norwegian"

(China)

Budapest to New York JFK via Stockholm was an amazing flight. We purchased a half Premium Economy ticket / half economy ticket, which was the same price as full economy on Lufthansa. BUD to STO, which was an average economy experience, with excellent staff. We also had free Wi-Fi inflight, which is an excellent service that is unavailable on most European airlines. During our layover, we were the only ones in the lounge, which was an excellent plus. One complaint is that there is no Fast Track upon check-in at Stockholm, everyone was just crowding. On the longer leg, we flew on a new Boeing 787. The crew was American and treated us very well. The seats were almost lie flat, and very comfortable. the food was excellent. The inflight entertainment was about the same as you would find on a Lufthansa transatlantic flight. Overall an excellent experience, and I would certainly recommend flying with Norwegian.

"seats were comfortable"

(Singapore)

Norwegian from Helsinki to Rovaniemi. The seats were comfortable. More importantly, there's free wifi! Haven't flew with Free Wifi although the connection and loading time can be quite slow. Staffs were pleasant but I didn't have much interaction with them. For a very low cost, this is really worth it. Would definitely fly with them again.

"the leg room was good"

(United Kingdom)

I was disappointed with my first experience using them. The barcode on my boarding pass from their app wasn't recognised by the scanner at Gatwick security. Fortunately I had a paper copy as backup. I have never witnessed such slow boarding for a flight, it took over half an hour to process everyone. When we finally got to the front, we had to check our cabin bags into the hold at the gate. I wouldn't have minded, but on the plane the overhead lockers are only about two-thirds full and a lot of the bags that were in the lockers would have fitted under seats. On board, the Wi-Fi wasn't working. Again, sure, no other airline I've ever used gives you free Wi-Fi, and I didn't need to use it, but if you advertise "free Wi-Fi" as a selling point over your competitors, it doesn't inspire confidence if you can't deliver it. Cabin staff ignored my request for a glass of tap water for 30 mins. On the plus side, the plane was incredibly new, the leg room was good and the plane immaculately clean - more so than any other plane I've been on. So I'll give Norwegian the benefit of the doubt this time, and use them again if the price is right.

"staff short tempered"

(United States)

Gatwick to New York JFK with Norwegian - the airport staff were short tempered and moody. The overall experience was of customer service that does not value the customer because your getting a great price. Not sure the saving is that great and I will have to think twice in future. Planes are new but seats leave little room if you are 6ft tall. Flight staff were not much more friendly. If your not buying a meal, you are treated like a second class passenger in economy.

"a fantastic airline"

(United Kingdom)

Edinburgh to Malaga. I have used Norwegian on several occasions now and it is a fantastic airline. The cabin feels larger than other low cost flight airlines, and they do not fuss about checking baggage for the flight case and handbag. There is Wi-Fi on the airplane and the crew are the most helpful I have come across. The on board drinks and food is also placed at a rate that you don't feel you're being ripped off.

"staff friendly and professional"

(Spain)

Boarding in Stockholm Arlanda was swift and well-organised and the flight departed ahead of schedule. The flight was uneventful and arrived about 10 minutes ahead of schedule. Cabin crew was Spanish but spoke excellent English and were friendly and professional. As is customary with Norwegian, there was free wifi on board, which is welcome albeit slow. Don't think of doing anything beyond light browsing or messaging - still that's very useful. Seat spacing was above average and the plane was spotlessly clean. A welcome reminder of what a "no-frills" airline can be and the fare was excellent (80€ one-way).

"it is basic"

(United Kingdom)

We booked through an agent so flew out Ryanair and back with Norwegian from Barcelona to Birmingham. We had no say in the choice of airline. As a student years ago, I knew Norweigans, one of whom said to me that 6 feet (my height) was in Norway 'quite a little fellow'. Many years on, Brits have got taller but judging from the seat spacing, either Norweigans have shrunk or don't fly on this airline. It is basic. Seats are so close that 'brace position' is impossible. Otherwise, foreign staff were efficient but tended to read out information at a high speed babble (why not just play a tape spoken by a native English speaker?) and at Birmingham, we were kept on the plane for 20 minutes without explanation. I thought it average, even by the standards of budget airlines. If you are more than 5 feet 10, you'd be well advised to fork out for seats with legroom.

"service was far from low cost"

(United Kingdom)

I am impressed by todays flight from Arrecife to Gatwick with Norwegian. They say they are a low cost airline but the service experienced today was far from low cost. In fact it was better than some full fare airlines. We took off 6 minutes early with a full aircraft, the cabin crew were smart, friendly, and professional. The cost of items from the trolley was reasonable and no more expensive than their competitors. Cabin crew managed to fit in two cabin services and a duty free one as well. We were given plenty of information from the cockpit and on take off we were warned that they had turbulence on the way down and they expected to hit it on the way back to Gatwick. The Captain make and announcement every time he had to switch on the fasten seat belt sign. The First Officer was flying the return leg back to Gatwick did drop to a lower flight level to avoid the turbulence. The landing at Gatwick was smooth and seemed to be gentle and we ground to a halt 25 minutes early.

"the crew was great"

(Norway)

Los Angeles to Oslo with Norwegian. The plane was so modern and new with led lights inside the cabin, who change color to the weather outside. The seats were good to sit in and the inflight entertainment was good, thousands of movies and you could pay for food and other things from the screen, it was a card reader on it. The toilets were clean and fine. The windows were big and the crew was great, fine uniforms and very nice. It was only one thing who could be better, it could be WIFI.
