GMP-HND return on b747 during Korean New Year holiday so flights were full. The service was polite and attentive. They offer IFE but you barely have enough time to watch a movie from takeoff to landing! They served a hot meal in each direction which wasn't bad. Both GMP and HND airports are convenient.

Codeshare flight with AF in to LHR. KE operated from ICN to CDG. The flight was very full. I was in 52H on a B744. Although the leg room was fairly generous the AVOD box took up some of that space under the seat in front of me. No power outlets for laptops or other devices. The AVOD itself was better than other far eastern carriers and kept me entertained for the day flight back to Europe. Food and drinks were plentiful and the refreshments schedule was helpfully shown in the inflight magazine. All crew were attentive and spoke English. Amenity kit including slippers provided in economy.

ICN-JFK round-trip. JFK bound in B777-300 and ICN bound in A380. Both planes were spotless and seats were very comfortable with generous space. A380 had even wider seat with more recline. Duty free shop at the aft of A380 cabin was a waste of space though. Service was prompt and FA's were polite. KE did not offer periodic drink runs like Asiana but call button took care of any additional requests. The biggest letdown was the food quality. Food is served in thin plastic tray and looked like they were steamed. "Steamed" steak or French fries cannot be tasty. All meals were very poor. Both flights have great IFE system but not much to watch. Aerial view from the tail wing was the most interesting thing to watch. Overall very comfortable flight thanks to the coolest planes in the market but there were some areas to be watched.

Flew CDG-ICN-CEB and CEB-ICN-PRG in economy. A380 was fabulous with excellent seat pitch (34) duty free shop at the rear and wide comfortable cabin. Others a/cs like B747-400 and 777-200 older but well maintained however on route ICN-PRG they used older 777 with old economy seats and smaller legroom. Crew attentive ready to help or to serve additional drinks or snacks. Food very good and bibimbap (Korean dish) very tasty. During the night noodles also available in the galleys. For one leg I ordered special "seafood" meal which again was perfect and consists fish shrimps and even scallops. In general - perfect legroom (in A/C with new economy seats) nice crew and perfect meals.

PVG-ICN-SIN return on three A333s and one upgraded B744. A333s were exceptionally good. The seats and AVOD the best we've been on. The cabin crew were smiley and helpful. ICN is an exceptional airport and the ground staff were friendly and helpful. ICN-PVG Korean Air changed the expected A333 for an older B747 and you could feel the difference. The seat was narrower but slightly more legroom and the AVOD was smaller and slower. Unusually the seat I was in 53A was where the seating changes to 2x4x2 from 3x4x3 and it meant the window was almost a chair away: I could walk between my seat and the window! Not a good choice if you want to see the ground.

Last week flew from LHR to Siem Reap via ICN. B777-300 on the first leg to ICN aircraft just over one year old so in very good order. The flight crew were visible in the cabin for the whole flight. Cabin crew smiled and were very helpful and that was in economy! Had two seats right at the back of the aircraft one four sets of two on the whole plane. Leg room and recline was good but what is it with the latest seat cushions? My backside was sore and numb after both flights because they were so hard. Flight arrived early into ICN. Flight from ICN to REP was on a B737 900 longest flight I have done on a 737 just over 5 hours! This stretched 737 is cramped for international medium/long haul work in my opinion. Seats were hard again and leg room limited. Service was however very good and flight arrived early. No problems with luggage either. I would definitely use KAL again and I'm actually looking forward to the return flights. I'll get myself a nice gel or memory foam cushion next time though!

Toronto - Incheon - Denpassar return. Food good - actually had taste but not a lot of variation. Lots of fish. Decent selection of movies. Very attentive service. Clean cabins clean and comfortable seats. Would absolutely fly again. Note was upgraded to business class for one leg and would rate that 5 stars all the way.

Brisbane to Incheon and then on to JFK then return home the same way. Economy the whole way. Outbound was on A330 and 777 and while service was good agree with others comments that they need to expand entertainment choices. Return home was on A380 an improved feeling of comfort.

REP-ICN-NYC return on B738 and A380. A great experience. Seats very comfortable for my 185cm frame food excellent and AVOD had plenty of choice for the trans-atlantic. Only negative was the lack of restrooms on the A380 (2 in each Economy section) making for long lines after meals.

Bangkok - Incheon midday flight business class on 737-800. On this aircraft they use their oldest available business class seats hardly any recline and most uncomfortable. Headset is same as economy no noise cancellation as you get on Thai for example. Will avoid flying Korean at least in business class in the future.
