"best airline I have flown"

(United Kingdom)

Absolutely no complaints with any of the Emirates flights - Glasgow to Dubai, then a 2.5 hour stop, and onto Auckland via Melbourne. Cabin Crew were friendly, helpful and professional, with soft drinks and water offered frequently throughout all the flights. Meals were hot, with a choice of 2 main courses for dinner, and breakfast, and snacks were offered in between times too - actually this was unnecessary, as I had too much to eat. The seats could be more spacious and comfortable, but in Economy, this is never going to happen - you get what you pay for. Emirates are the best airline I have ever flown with, and live up to the praise and expectations which I had for them, prior to reading awful reviews.

"Thank you Emirates"

(Australia)

Personally escorted to my Seat 9A by a Vietnamese female flight attendant. I was told I would be looked after by this Cabin attedent throughout my flight and I most certainly was. As I has enjoyed a great breakfast in the Emirates lounge prior to my departure I only had the lite continental breakfast which was pleasant. I have a disability and as my seat was closer to the pointy end of the A380 when I went to use the bathroom I was quietly told I may use the First class facility as First class was empty. Just before landing in Auckland the attendant who had looked after me came and said goodbye then placed a Godiva chocolate with a small hand written note to enjoy my onward travels. Such a personal and special gesture. On arrival a wheelchair awaited me at the aircraft door and 40 min later I was thru customs and on my way to my domestic connection. Thank you Emirates.

"disappointing flight"

(United Kingdom)

The breakfast was an inedible cheese selection alongside cold slices of apple, so by the time lunch arrived I was ready for it. However there was turbulence which the pilot deemed bad enough to warrant asking the cabin crew to return to their seats a total of five times during lunch service! So when lunch was eventually served, it was cold, tough and as inedible as breakfast. Overall a really disappointing flight from a usually top class airline.

"Emirates A380 has excellent suites"

(United Kingdom)

Sydney to Manchester via Dubai with Emirates. Chauffeur, included in the price, picked us up on time and following check in we settled in the lounge to await our flight. Flight left on time and arrived Dubai early. Emirates A380 has excellent suites in first with 23" TV, privacy door which make your space entirely private and very comfortable seat. Following takeoff, watched a movie, got the seat into bed position with mattress and duvet, closed the doors and slept. Woke after 6 hours, ordered food and about two hours from Dubai used one of the two showers. Onward flight to Manchester, again A380, was the same and using the shower meant we arrived fresh. Chauffeur drive again home.

"seats very cramped 3x4x3"

(Australia)

Departure from Singapore was on time. Good service by the crew very attentive. Loved the hot towels and the welcome drinks. Food was delicious but very small portions. Seats are very cramped 3x4x3 in a Boeing 777-300er. I asked for an eye shade and a mask and the flight attendant got it straight away, and spoke to me in Lebanese that I loved. I'd definitely fly with them again. Wish Emirates had a service out of Sydney with a stop in Singapore to connect EK 349.

"worst experience I've ever had"

(Australia)

We arrived at Gatwick at about 10.30am for a 2.25 pm flight to Brisbane via Dubai and we were told there were no flights till 5 pm or tomorrow. We could board the 2.15 pm flight to Dubai. We were told to go to the National Express (bus) counter and get a bus to Heathrow. The bus arrived about 40 minutes later and we arrived at Heathrow at 1pm at the central bus station. It seemed to be about 1 mile walk to the Emirates check in. No trolleys were allowed on the walk : there were several trolley barriers during the walk. When we arrived at the Emirates check in we were not in their system. Emirates at Gatwick had forgotten to re ticket us. We had to go to the Emirates counter to get ticketed and then back to check in. We were then the last people to be seated and we could not sit together. When I boarded I was seated next to an enormous man who sat with his legs apart and his arms spread out invading my seat space. My economy Emirates ticket was AUD $2800 which is very expensive. I'd traveled to France in May 2015 and my ticket was AUD $1700. We only got seating to Dubai and our boarding pass from Dubai to Brisbane was marked as standby even though we were picking up our original flight from Dubai to Brisbane. We had to get seating in Dubai and again we were not able to sit together. Again I was seated next to a very large man. I will never travel with Emirates again. I've flown every year to the UK since 1984 and sometimes twice a year. That was the worst experience I've ever had.

"exceptional inflight service"

(United States)

San Francisco to Dubai with Emirates. Exceptional inflight service and clean and fresh cabin. Luggage was not a problem and neither the crew at all. We arrived on time in DXB. The food was outstanding, entertainment was sub par. Bathrooms were kinda wet but manageable. Seat comfort was nice.

"will not recommend Emirates"

(Australia)

The first leg of my flight Amsterdam to Dubai was excellent. I can't say the same about the Dubai to Sydney flight. Nearly for two hours after departure (that was late - at 12:45) there was nothing served but the forms that was needed only at the Sydney airport. No water, no refreshment, nothing at all. Most of the passengers were transferring, being after another flight, tired, hungry and thirsty. Many children were on the flight too. Everybody just wanted to have some meal, something to drink as soon as possible and then sleep. But we had to wait for a long time for it to happen. Even when eventually the crew started serving it was very slow and unprofessional. They accidentally splashed drinks over passengers, pushed them without even apologising. I will not recommend Emirates.

"crew this time excellent"

(Australia)

Usually fly Emirates to Singapore as enjoy that it is an evening flight and you arrive in Singapore just before midnight. Check in was easy and headed straight to the Emirates Lounge. One thing I have noticed with the lounge over the years is that it has not been upgraded and service has been degrading for some time know. Food is average at best and the decor was very ordinary when comparing it to the other lounges. Decided not to upgrade onboard as flight was empty and had a whole row to my self. Flight was comfortable and meals adequate but not the best by far and the crew this time were excellent and flight was on time. I hope in future Emirates upgrades this flight to the A380 as it as a far superior product to the Boeing 777.

"pleasant flying experience"

(United Kingdom)

Overall, another pleasant flying experience with Emirates. All 4 flights on time. IFE is pretty good, so the boys were extremely happy. We have strict Vegetarian diet and the special meal requests were properly delivered on all segments. Kids goodies were pretty high spec. Legroom, service etc in economy class on any Middle East carrier has similar standards. It is the other factors such as flying on time, food, proper receipt of luggage etc that matter for family holidays by air.
