"Don’t I deserve some slack"

(Australia)

Trip Verified | Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. Aside from the friendly staff member who was helping with self service bag drops, staff we encountered did not greet us and did not say ‘how can I help you’. My wife and I did not pay additional to get side by side seats for an 8 hour flight. We were told to check with the KL counterparts but we knew that was just an excuse since we won’t have time to speak to anybody after the SIN-KUL leg. We did try but the KL staff told us we could not, without checking the flight status nor touching her keyboard. Cabin crew told us to power down our phone. How do our phones still affect planes in 2019? I was told off by a flight attendant for not powering down as a first warning. Don’t I deserve some slack as a customer?

"the best bow cost carrier"

(Norway)

Trip Verified | Singapore to Kuching. It was the best bow cost carrier I have flown with. Earlier, I have had many experiences with airlines like Wizzair, Ryanair or Norwegian, and Airasia is in my opinion the best LCC airline. Friendly staff. I would recommend this airline for short flights.

"getting a lot more"

(Malaysia)

Trip Verified | Kuching to Penang. This is what I love about budget airline. Even though you just pay a little amount of money, sometimes you will be getting a lot more. I even get aircraft miniature in my flight. Plus, all the staff are good looking and very neat.

"simplicity of the whole process"

(India)

Trip Verified | CGK-KUL flight was delayed by 45 min due to some runway repairs that we could see from the window. Flight arrived only slightly late. KUL-MAA flight landed 20 min ahead of time. Although I was flying on cheap tickets I could buy exit row aisle seats for both flights. The middle seat remained vacant in both flights probably because no one wants to pay for the pleasure of sitting in the middle seat! In both flights the meal that I had preordered turned out to be pretty tasty. This is what I like about this airline - at the time of booking you can buy the degree of comfort that you want, verify it and then pay for it. Many other airlines would not allow cheap ticket holders to select premium seats. After flying full service airlines on business for decades I have recently switched to AirAsia in part due to the simplicity of the whole process - booking, seat and meal selection, checkin and boarding. The entire meal service is over quickly and they leave you in peace for the rest of the flight. If you need any snack or drink you could walk to the galley and buy it. Also for destinations in the South, SE Asia region they seem to offer the fastest connections.

"did not notice while booking"

(India)

Trip Verified | Bali to Kuala Lumpur. The ticket amount excludes check in baggage which we did not notice while booking. We had to add 25 kg luggage allowance at 3050₹ extra. There was no free food and not even a free cup of water on this low-cost airline. At Bali airport we reached 2 hr before and were waiting for boarding at designated gate. We just escaped missing our flight as they changed gate before 1 hr.
