TAP Portugal Passenger Seat Tip : 23rd October 2007
Airbus A330 : Business Class
TAP has very odd business class partial reclining seats. Pitch is very good with lots of room
between the rows. However, there is not enough of an extension for the footrest to actually extend
your legs. They dangle over the edge or the lip of the foot rest digs into your calf. You need a
small bag to put at the base of the seat to prop up your legs to make it reasonably comfortable.
This is really not acceptable these days in a business class seat.
TAP Portugal Passenger Seat Tip : 10th March 2007
Airbus A330 : Economy Class
The seats in economy are tiny. There is no way they are the 33" as stated on this site. I am 6'4"
tall and couldnt even put my knees together. I am a frequent flier with over thirty flights a year
and have never sat in such a small seat. My wife is only 5'5" amd even she found the seats to be the most uncomfortable she has ever flown
in. You have no chance of requesting a seat as they are not interested and only allow you to sit in the
seat assigned during booking, which if booked online seems to be random as you are not given an
option.
