AEROFLOT Passenger Seat Tip : 12th August 2007
IL 96 : Economy Class
16 AB - just after the separation wall between business and economy.
While the seats are 3x4x3, this row is only 2x4x2 with lots of leg room
and less "claustrophobic" open look. Much more comfortable
AEROFLOT Passenger Seat Tip : 4th February 2007
IL 96 : First Class
The seats are armchair-like. There's no leg rest. The recline is very steep but the pitch is not great.
Either take Row 1 (quite a lot of extra legroom) and ask for an empty seat behind you (so you can recline
fully without being in someone's lap) or the last row with an empty seat in front of you (so you can
recline fully without the passenger in front being in your lap). The seats are so wide that you won't
notice if there is anyone next to you.
AEROFLOT Passenger Seat Tip
Boeing 737-400 : Economy Class
Best: 12 ABC DEF - exit row with extra large pitch 34" (31-32 is standard) Another exit row, 11 is also
with enlarged pitch but no recline backrest Worst: 9 - standard pitch and no recline
AEROFLOT Passenger Seat Tip
Airbus A310 : Economy Class
Majority of the aircrafts of Aeroflot had three class configuration but often served European routes
with two class passenger: C/J-class seating is in F-class cabin and part of Y-class can seat in business
(2+3+2 instead 2+4+2) - simply ask for row from 17 to 21 at check in! Aeroflot don't reserved this
"premium economy" for frequent flyers or full-fare passengers. Two 'bi-class' A310 had shortened seat
pitch in some rows in central section of main cabin (DEFG)
