Cathay Pacific Airways Passenger Seat Tip : 9 March 2008
"Old" Economy Class : A333/A343/A346
The seats in row 55/56 DEG (when 4 seats are turned to 3 seats) the seats are more narrow compared
to the other seats. The personal TV isn't in front of you.

I believe rows 30, 44 and 55 are the best. Rows 30 and 55 are the first
rows in the two economy cabins and you get plenty of leg room. The screens can also be stowed so
they won't bother you when you're trying to sleep. Row 44 has the most legroom but less privacy when
compared to rows 30 and 55 as it is located by the emergency exit.

Business Class : Boeing 747-400
Old Business Class - 747-400 - Best seats are upper deck - any - but 86 A/C/H/K by the exit
are the best. New Business Class - 747-400 - Best seats are again upper deck but 86H and K
only.

Economy Class : Airbus A330-300
Most window seats seem to have the video box under the seat in front, seriously hampering
legroom. You can't stretch out both legs. Bearable for a short regional hop but not for a
long one.

In Coach, I find that row 55 (bulkhead) tends to be the roomiest. The bonus of having the
bulkhead that serves as a "footrest" makes a long flight a bit more bearable.
