Find the best airline seat for your next flight with
China Airlines. All recommendations and suggestions are provided by your fellow passengers (not the airline!) .... so hopefully you will be able
to benefit from their recent air travel experiences with China Airlines.
China Airlines Passenger Seat Tip : 30 December 2008
Business Class : A330-300
Row 7-25A/B. The seats on the A/B side have more legroom as there is one less row of seats compared
to D/E/F/G and J/K. For those who enjoy a view, do not choose 12A/B as it is missing a window. 25A/B
would also be undesirable as it is next to the lavatory.
China Airlines Passenger Seat Tip : 29 January 2007
Business Class : A330
Row 7. It is the first row of the Economy class cabin and the pair of seats on each side of the row
are next to the plane exit - more legroom than you can find in Business class!
China Airlines Passenger Seat Tip
Business Class : A340-300
Avoid the first row. The seats are facing a bulkhead and have much less legroom than the
next 4 rows. Port side first row seats are directly behind a lav and you can hear every
flush of the vacuum toilet. Window seats on both sides don't get any ventilation. The only
air ducts in the cabin are above the outboard overhead racks, so the air blows toward the
center section, which is quite good because of 2-2-2 config. You have private access to the
aisle at all times. Window seats are have a cramped feeling because of the tight curvature
fuselage. The curve starts lower than your shoulder lever, so you always have the desire to
leant toward your neighbor in the aisle seat.

Business Class : Boeing 747-400
Upper Deck - first row (5) should be avoided because of a bit less leg room than in the
other rows (wall in front of you, not other seat where you can put your feet below).
Main Deck - same for row 17 main deck - to be avoided.

Premium Economy : Boeing 747-400
Upper Deck - Row 10 upper deck window seat either side. There is a single crew seat that
you can pull down and it makes a great bed
