British Airways Business Class Flight Review London Heathrow to Phoenix
DEPARTURE SERVICE
We used British Airways Terminal 5, which was incredibly efficient. We checked in online so
used the fast bag drop desks. We were served immediately with polite and efficient service.
The Club World lounge was of a very high standard, with clean facilities and what looked like
a jolly good spa.
CABIN APPEARANCE
The cabin was very clean and modern looking. British Airways Club World seating is still a
brilliant idea. It gives a real sense of privacy and allows people traveling together to chat
in a more relaxed way. The only problem I can report was a faulty privacy screen on the
inbound leg, however this seemed to sort itself out.
SEATING COMFORT
The seats were very comfortable with plenty of space. They make a very good fully flat bed as
well, I am 6 foot 3 and was perfectly comfortable.
ONBOARD CATERING
The food seemed to be a very good standard. I am vegetarian, however I really enjoyed the food
onboard.
INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT
The inflight entertainemtn was very good. There was plenty of choice of both recent and past films, and the screen was
a respectable size. The controls and interface were user friendly and it certainly seemed a very good system.
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
We flew in the heart of both the Icelandic volcanic eruption and the British Airways cabin
crew dispute, so the crew seemed a bit down beat on that flight. However this did not affect
service, which was very good.
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
Phoenix Sky Harbor seems a very efficient airport, although our bags did not arrive any
earlier than anyone else's, despite the bright orange "priority" tag.
CUSTOMER TRIP VERDICT
British Airways offers very good service.
