Korean Air Economy Class Flight Review London to Seoul to Denpasar return
DEPARTURE SERVICE
LHR, ICN and DPS, staff courteous and helpful. Did not have to wait more than 10 minutes at
check-in. Transfer at ICN swift. The ground staff try their best to board the plane
efficiently but passengers didn't follow their instructions.
CABIN APPEARANCE
Pleasant appearance, clean. The toilets were excellent everything was fully stocked.
SEATING COMFORT
Very good spacious seats. I think MAS have wider seats but Korea have long le room. I
usually sit Aisle but had 35B on the return to London. The VOD box did not interfere with my
leg room and I was able to stretch out unobstructed.
ONBOARD CATERING
The inflight magazine states when everything will be served. The quantities fine and food was
good. They offer Western or Korean, meals were tasty.
INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT
LHR-ICN wide range of current movies, classics, and regional content. Usual mix of music,
games, and TV shows. The passenger next to me on the return has a faulty screen so she had
nothing to do for the whole flight. ICN-DPS one big screen at the front, some generic music
on the radio.
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
Well dressed and attentive. Did not speak English as well as say Singapore Airlines but do
not take this with concern that you will not be understood, as you will.
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
Transfer at ICN quick and painless. Luggage was quickly delivered at DPS. Heathrow was the
only kink in the chain on the return, where I waited 40 mins for the bags, but I did get out
of the plane, past immigration, and to the belts within 15 minutes.
CUSTOMER TRIP VERDICT
I would definitely fly with Korean again, but changing in ICN is a pain, purely due to flight
time.
