DEPARTURE SERVICE

Check-in was courteous and efficient, with no queue. Boarding very well organised. Huge amount of free reading matter available to all passengers in the departure lounge - not just newspapers but wide selection of magazines too.


CABIN APPEARANCE

Cabin was smart and spotlessly clean. Relaxing, subdued colours created a pleasant ambience. Toilets were kept clean and fresh throughout the 12-hour flight.


SEATING COMFORT

Abysmal. Seat width and legroom were dreadful. The base of the seat seemed to be quite thin and the seat was very uncomfortable after a couple of hours.


ONBOARD CATERING

Excellent. Two meal services on the flight, preceded in each case by drinks and snacks. Crew freely offered further drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) during and after meal. Water and fruit juice offered frequently during flight.


INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT

Wide selection of movies on demand. System worked very well indeed.


CABIN STAFF SERVICE

Faultless. Efficient, polite and gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble.


FLIGHT ARRIVAL

First, Business and Premium Economy were disembarked before economy, so there was a bit of a wait, but nothing significant.


CUSTOMER TRIP VERDICT

Excellent in every way apart from the seating.
