DEPARTURE SERVICE

Service at Sydney was standard, efficient but no smiles. Boarding was conducted quickly and we departed close to time.


CABIN APPEARANCE

Cabin was noticably dusty, other than that a standard QF 747 which was sufficient otherwise.


SEATING COMFORT

First time I noticed how cramped the economy seating is, uncomfortable on long haul flights such at these. Upgrade to premium on second leg was fantastic, with plenty more room - this seems like a great product.


ONBOARD CATERING

Meals disappointing, QF seems to have dropped their standard here. But snack packs are handy for the long time between meals and plenty of water, refreshments were offered.


INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT

Inflight entertainment was fine, good selection and it didnt need re-setting.


CABIN STAFF SERVICE

Majority of cabin crew were fantastic, very helpful and enthusiastic, the older ones appeared surly


FLIGHT ARRIVAL

Arrivals in LAX good, being first flight in - it was quick and custom staff smiling ! The re-checking of baggage through to JFK is a hassle but the way it is.


CUSTOMER TRIP VERDICT

For the money you pay, QF offers a pretty high standard compared to the competitors. And when the cabin crew are in a good mood it makes all the difference.
