United Airlines Economy Class Flight Review Boston to Chicago O'Hare
DEPARTURE SERVICE
Used united.com to check in 24 hours prior. Everything went smooth, printed new boarding pass at self-
service kiosk at airport. UA uses Terminal C in Boston, old terminal, but gate area was clean and staff
efficient in boarding.
CABIN APPEARANCE
Flew on an A320 with new seating, boarding was easy for a full flight. Aircraft spotless.
SEATING COMFORT
A320 was very clean, new seat covers, in-flight entertainment was mediocre however. Pretty good amount of
legroom for not being seated in Economy Plus.
ONBOARD CATERING
Well this ridiculous cash-free policy UA implemented was not met well. Throughout the flight I heard
numerous passengers complaining about having to use their credit cards to purchase a $6 glass of cheap
wine of $9 for a boxed snack. The cabin crew were sympathetic, and said they didn't think it was going to
last.
INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT
Mediocre programming, however channel 9 was nice to hear the ATC.
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
UA Cabin Crew are the best in the US in my opinion. They're sincere and seem to enjoy their jobs.
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
Arrived at Terminal 1 at ORD 17 minutes early, however I had to walk quite a distance to get my luggage
in baggage claim. The UA Terminal is very large, lots of light and very well maintained.
CUSTOMER TRIP VERDICT
Overall this was a very pleasant flight.
