Cathay Pacific Airways Business Class Flight Review Sydney to Hong Kong to Rome
DEPARTURE SERVICE
Checkin at Sydney was quick and easy, staff were polite, our onward boarding passes and invitation to the
lounge were provided at the time of check in.
CABIN APPEARANCE
First leg was on a A330 two class, Business was pretty full overall cabin was clean and in good
condition. The second leg was on the upper deck on the 747, cabin appeared to have a bit of wear and tear.
SEATING COMFORT
Seating is herringbone design, travelled with my wife and due to the design was unable to speak to her
whilst seated. However the design is such that you do not disturb anyone whilst they are a sleep as
everyone has access to the aisle. The seats felt quite narrow, but extended to a fully flat bed.
ONBOARD CATERING
Meals were excellent, as the flight left HK after midnight I did not have any dinner on this leg,
breakfast was more than adequate.
INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT
Excellent Movie, TV and music selections
CABIN STAFF SERVICE
This is what Cathay is known for. Every time my wife got up there was generally a staff member asking if
everything was ok. I carried a cup back to the galley and staff member told me to please press the call
button on future!
FLIGHT ARRIVAL
Arrived into Rome an hour ahead of schedule. Baggage delivery was reasonable.
CUSTOMER TRIP VERDICT
Exceptional service from one of the best airlines I have flown.
